Key Responsibilities
- Daily operation of container filling/labelling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top quality products.
- Report and/or correct safety issues. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings.
- Perform quality inspections on materials and finished product. Quality checks to include, codes, seals and weights.
- Responsible for proper and accurate product/package/code changes.
- Perform all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules.
- Perform simple preventative maintenance, i.e clean, inspect, lubricate and tighten.
- Monitor equipment and process performance and correct /raise issues before they become problem.
Attributes/Experience
- Good communicator with ability to understand instructions
- Previous experience in an FMCG or related company.
- Food hygiene certificate.
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable to demonstrate basic level of vocational learning ability.
- Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection systems i.e SCADA, OEE, SPC.

General Purpose:
Working within a small team, complete the finishing portion of label production by transforming the product through slitting, rewinding and counting, while doing inspection of the labels. Job Functions:
- Ability to read and follow work order specifications;
- Setup and operation of Rewinder Machines using hand tools;
- Verify size and alignment of rewind rolls;
- Inspect for quality while machine is operating and adjust as necessary;
- Quality check all finished products;
- Label all finished products and package all products in appropriate boxes;
- Ensure total quality through use of good manufacturing practice and company standard operating procedures;
- Maintain housekeeping standards;
- Assist team members as needed;

Our client is a global manufacturing leader in their industry and is offering great progression opportunities to grow with the company.
Rate of pay: £16.81ph including 30% shift allowance. (overtime available at higher rates)
Hours of work: Full time: 12 hour shifts 6.30-6.30 with a mixture of days and nights: 4 weekly rotating shifts: 2 Days on, 2 off, 3 nights on, 2 off , 2 Days on, 3 off, 2 nights on, 2 off, 3 days on, 2 off, 2 nights on, 3 off and then this rotates and the pattern starts again. Hours work out at an average of 42 hours per week over a 4 week period.
Contract: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks providing candidate meets performance and job spec criteria below.
Purpose of the role:
To guarantee the right operation of the packaging machinery in compliance with the working instructions and the safety guidelines.
Main Responsibilities:
