PSR Rail Team are currently recruiting for a Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) in London to work on one of the biggest Rail projects in London being the Old Oak Common. This will be working for a Tier 1 contractor.



The Role

As CEM , you will be the primary engineering authority within the companies for assigned projects. You will ensure all engineering activities are delivered in accordance with the client's specifications, industry standards, and relevant legislation. You'll act as the key liaison between the client, design teams, and delivery teams, ensuring seamless integration and compliance throughout the engineering lifecycle.







Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all engineering activities on the project from concept to completion.

  • Act as the engineering interface between the companies, the client, and other stakeholders.

  • Review and approve engineering deliverables in line with project requirements.

  • Ensure all design and engineering work complies with applicable standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related discipline).

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it (preferred).

  • Extensive experience as a CEM on major infrastructure projects (e.g., rail, tunnels, stations, M&E systems).

  • In-depth knowledge of Network Rail GRIP/PACE or equivalent infrastructure delivery frameworks.

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

Requirements

Core Responsibilities:

Whilst requirements vary from project to project, responsibilities can include:

  • Build paid social campaigns & strategies that are structured into clear frameworks focused on client's business objectives & are built upon solid insight.
  • Develop comprehensive 12-month growth roadmaps, aligning creative, performance, and financial goals.
  • Ensure that we execute and surpass our client requests and manage expectations effectively
  • Support Account Directors and the Head of Department in developing investment-led strategies in paid social to help meet our client’s business objectives
  • Actively seek creative and innovative growth solutions
What Success Looks Like:

You’re trusted to own and deliver high-performance paid social campaigns that consistently hit key KPIs such as ROAS, CAC, and LTV. You turn data into actionable insights, support wider account strategies, and collaborate effectively with internal teams to drive results for clients. You’re known for your reliability, problem-solving skills, and ability to combine hands-on execution with strategic thinking.

Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns (Meta, Tiktok or Google).
  • Strong understanding of acquisition channels, landing pages, and e-commerce growth levers.
  • Proven track record producing accurate forecasts and data-driven strategies.
  • Solid grasp of creative ideation and performance analysis.
  • Clear, confident communicator able to simplify complex ideas.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to align creative and media strategies.
  • High proficiency with Shopify, Triple Whale, and other e-commerce analytics tools.
