THE ROLE
We are seeking a Junior Quality Control Operator, who is passionate about the Film & TV Industry, to work within our Technical Operations team responsible for the localisation of TV spots, film trailers and social media content for international release for our prestigious, world-renowned clients.
With detailed knowledge of industry QC standards and workflows, you will be confident in undertaking;
- QC assessment of short-form (e.g. film trailers, TV spots, promotional materials and social media)
- Video and audio content for international broadcast
- QC of subtitles for sync and positioning of content
- Checking localised content against scripts and original versions supplied
- Creating detailed QC reports and updating key stakeholders on content QC status key
- Working on key campaigns to detailed specs
- Producing high volumes of assets for clearance
- Reporting findings in a clear and concise manner on our bespoke Online QC system.
- Meeting tight deadlines and during those times can remain calm, focused and methodical in your approach and show the same critical attention to detail in these circumstances
You will be required to work Monday to Friday 06:45 to 15:15.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who;
- have circa 1 years’ experience using Adobe Premiere and Audition
- have an in-depth knowledge of QC workflows and of international broadcast audio specifications
- have an in-depth knowledge of international broadcast audio specifications
- demonstrate an exceptional aptitude for producing accurate work, being able to thoroughly check visual and audio content for errors and spotting mistakes,
- can think on their feet and can demonstrate good problem-solving ability. There will be times on shift where you will need to work independently and make decisions for yourself.
- Any knowledge of another language a bonus

Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Control Room Operator to join the established Anchor Group Services’ Control team based at our Head Quarters in Chester Business Park.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the control room operations, including monitoring staff activity, assisting with shift coverage and supporting smooth operation of control systems such as CCTV and alarm response.

Duties include:
Co-ordinating multiple site systems and monitoring booking on and off check calls.Support the control team in identifying unfilled shifts and contacting available staff when required.Support operations by quickly responding to unplanned absences or staffing issues by reallocating staff or calling in relief personnel.Record and escalate any issues with check calls, absences, or incidents to the relevant department or management.Communicate clearly and professionally with on-site teams regarding shift changes and staffing adjustments.Proactively and continuously monitor the site-based security and cleaning teams by obtaining, collating and reviewing information from multiple sources. Ensure accurate and timely logging and recording of all required information using available IT systems and in accordance with operational processes and guidance. Provide information, data and appropriate advice and guidance to relevant parties in a timely manner depending on their needs and using available systems.Promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement at all times. Requirements Full 5-year employment checkable history. Valid frontline SIA licence DS, SG or CCTV. Previous industry related experience preferred but not essential. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Excellent IT skills & computer literary. Excellent communications skills. Ability to work in a fast-moving environment. Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Timegate, Immix, Team, SharePoint and Office would be a distinct advantage.Due to the nature of the role substantial time will be invested in training and development to ensure competency can be evidence with a number of bespoke management systems.
