Controls Engineer - The Role:
- Design and configure PLC and HMI/SCADA software for industrial automation systems
- Produce supporting documentation (FDS, FAT/SAT) for control systems
- Assist with full life cycle project delivery including on-site testing and commissioning
- Work collaboratively with senior engineers, subcontractors, and clients
- Travel to customer sites across the UK (~20%)
Controls Engineer - The Person:
- Hands-on experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, or Schneider)
- Familiarity with HMI or SCADA platforms (e.g. WinCC, FactoryTalk, AVEVAInTouch)
- Understanding of project documentation and structured design
- Full UK driving licence
- Engineering qualifications (HNC/HND or above)
