Our client, a rapidly growing enterprise, is seeking an experienced Senior Public Relations Specialist to lead their corporate communications efforts. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to manage high-profile communication strategies from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR campaigns, managing media relations, crafting compelling press materials, and protecting and enhancing the company's reputation. The ideal candidate possesses a strategic mindset, exceptional writing skills, and a deep understanding of media landscapes, crisis communications, and corporate branding. You will play a crucial role in shaping public perception and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic public relations plans to support corporate objectives.
  • Manage all media relations activities, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and building relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Write and edit press releases, media advisories, speeches, talking points, and other PR materials.
  • Oversee the company's social media presence and digital communications strategy.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and analysis to senior leadership.
  • Develop and execute crisis communication plans, acting as a key spokesperson when necessary.
  • Manage the company's reputation and brand messaging across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, legal, executive) to ensure consistent and effective communication.
  • Organize and manage press conferences, media events, and other public engagements.
  • Identify opportunities for thought leadership and executive profiling.
  • Stay abreast of emerging PR tools, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on corporate-level PR.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing impactful PR strategies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of storytelling and persuasive language.
  • Extensive experience in media relations and a proven ability to secure positive media coverage.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and digital PR strategies.
  • Experience in crisis communications and reputation management.
  • Strong understanding of corporate branding and messaging.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working with PR software and media monitoring tools.
  • A strong network of media contacts is highly advantageous.
