The Role
We’re looking for an experienced corporate lawyer with a strong background in venture and growth-stage investments to join our dynamic in-house legal team. This is a hands-on, strategic role supporting investment activity across early-stage and growth portfolios. You’ll work closely with investment professionals and external counsel, helping shape deals and drive legal excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support investment teams on a wide range of legal matters, particularly early-stage transactions.
- Guide external counsel and ensure alignment with internal technical requirements.
- Identify legal themes across deals and develop solutions and best practices.
- Deliver tailored legal training to investment professionals.
- Advise on corporate and strategic matters, including commercial contracts.
- Support paralegals and maintain precedent documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified corporate lawyer with 6+ years PQE (flexible for the right candidate).
- Strong experience advising on venture/growth investments; familiarity with BVCA documentation is essential.
- In-house or secondment experience is a plus.
- Proactive, collaborative, and commercially minded.
