+ Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests
+ Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels

The Role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and resourceful Corporate Travel Manager to manage and optimise our domestic and international travel operations. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of corporate travel planning, ensuring cost-effective, seamless, and policy-compliant arrangements that support our business objectives. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex, fast-moving itineraries in a dynamic corporate environment. This is a highly collaborative role where you will be joining a tight knit team, reporting into the Office Manager and working closely with our Office Administrator.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Program Management
o Manage the company’s global travel program, ensuring compliance with corporate travel policies and procedures.
o Act as the primary point of contact for all travel-related inquiries, escalations, and approvals.
o Develop and maintain travel policies, updating as needed based on business requirements and industry best practices.
o Support planning and coordination of company events and conferences, including venue selection, logistics and travel arrangements.
- System Administration & Transition
o Serve as the business owner for SAP Concur during the transition to Workday Expenses.
o Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT teams to ensure a smooth migration and integration of travel and expense data into Workday.
o Provide training and documentation to employees on new tools and workflows.
- Vendor & Supplier Management
o Manage relationships with travel management companies (TMCs), airlines, hotels, and car rental partners.
o Negotiate contracts and preferred rates with suppliers to optimize cost savings and service levels.
o Monitor vendor performance, SLAs, and traveller satisfaction.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
o Analyse travel spend, patterns, and compliance trends; provide regular reporting to leadership.
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
o Leverage system data for forecasting and budgeting purposes.
Requirements
Skills and Experience Required:
- 5+ years’ experience in a corporate travel management.
- Proven experience arranging complex, multi-leg domestic and international itineraries.
· Knowledge of international travel regulations, customs and currencies.
· Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, including experience negotiating with corporate travel agencies.
· Clear initiative and proactive approach to work, whilst also being able to follow mandates set by others.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent requests.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proactive communicator with a professional, personable approach across all levels of the business.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, especially in fast-moving travel scenarios.
- Familiarity with SAP Concur and/or Workday expenses advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with travel booking platforms and expense tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.
