We have an exciting development opportunity for someone wishing to further their career in childcare. There is a vacancy for a Early Years Educator at our setting at Redesdale in Wallsend. This is a full-time post (35 hours, all year round over 4 or 5 days) and the successful candidate will be responsible for leading one of the rooms within the setting. This would be an ideal opportunity to take the first step into a management role within a childcare setting. Previous experience in a senior role is not essential as full training and support will be provided.

What you'll be doing
- Work as part of the Childcare Team to provide an amazing service, for both our children and families.
- Ensure the children's environment and your nursery is kept safe, secure and clean at all times ensuring safeguarding policies are adhered to.
- Be a role model for the children at all times, whilst demonstrating best practice to your colleagues.
- Give parents and carers a warm welcome and concise handover at the end of the day.
- Complete Nursery In A Box for all your key children, ensuring you meet targets and provide detailed and relevant accounts for each child, underpinned by the EYFS.

- Attend both in-house and external training, as required. Some of this may be outside of working hours, for example on a weekend.
