The role…
Working in a team of analysts located in the firm’s London, New York, and Boston offices, you will be analysing the impact of technology on industrial design engineering, plant/production operations and asset maintenance and performance. These markets are undergoing transformational changes under the influence of technology trends such as AI, computer vision, robotics, cloud platforms, mobile technologies and IIoT.
Success in the role requires an interest in digital technology and a background in computer science, chemical or mechanical engineering. The successful candidate will have the ambition to undertake a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research, write high quality written reports and present research findings to client executives.
Our analysts benefit from our structured ‘Analyst Training Framework’ which offers 24-months of tailored learning which will equip high performers to progress to more senior analyst positions at Verdantix.
Salary opportunity is £42,000 - £48,000 depending on experience level, plus a very competitive quarterly bonus scheme.
This is a hybrid role which requires 3 days a week in the office during probationary period, and will decrease to 2 days upon successful completion.
What you’ll be doing…
- Conducting research projects based on the established portfolio of Verdantix methodologies.
- Undertaking research interviews with operations, engineering and maintenance managers.
- Building quantitative models to size and forecast industrial technology markets.
- Efficiently writing high-quality research documents in English.
- Learning how to produce short reports on technology vendors based on technology briefings.
- Working on consulting projects relating to industrial technologies including AI-based analytics, digital twins, predictive maintenance software, asset performance software, CMMS, etc.
- Attending Verdantix events and industry conferences.
- Developing trusted relationships with Verdantix clients.
- Supporting marketing efforts by writing blogs and engaging in social media activities.
About you…
- Educated to master's level with a preference for top-tier universities, ideally with a degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science.
- More than 2-years work experience in a business role preferably with exposure to industrial technologies, or working within engineering, production or maintenance functions at industrial facilities.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and come up with new ideas.
- Sufficient quantitative skills and knowledge of Excel to manipulate large data sets and apply basic mathematical concepts.
- Familiarity with how to produce charts in Excel and figures in PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to quickly write reports for a business audience.
- Perfect written English and fluent spoken English.
- Experience in interviewing senior managers over the phone and in person to collect business information.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and team collaboration skills.

Heart Productions is a fully integrated creative live communications and experiential agency based in Kings Cross that delivers from concept creation through to project delivery for some of the world’s biggest and most exciting clients, from film premieres to global sporting events, immersive brand experiences to major PR moments. THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
This role is for a Graphic Designer to lead and spearhead work output within our in-house studio team and set the standard for all graphical elements. You will work closely with the studio team and project leads across a range of creative projects and clients, with ample opportunities to imprint your own creative vision. This position entails taking a leading role in graphic design, driving projects forward with minimal supervision, and inspiring the project team towards exceptional and timely results. You will work directly with the Exec. Creative Producer, Project Leads, and the close-knit design team, all under the management of the Creative Studio Lead, to deliver creative assets and present day-to-day project and pitch work to various stakeholders across a wide variety of projects where no two days are the same.
CREATIVE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day-to-day you'll be:
- Working closely with the ECP, Project Lead, and HoS to sell top-level conceptual ideas whilst owning projects from start to finish. Flexible and enthusiastic, you can pivot between different types of projects, creating your own unique ideas or developing the work of others.
- Developing design and creative solutions for a range of key clients, including building and developing brand guidelines/toolkits when required.
- Presenting the strategic and creative thinking behind concepts and design work to internal teams and external clients. Leading design meetings and design sections of decks for projects you are dedicated to.
- Providing input and support on front-end design and the strategic approach to projects, actively contributing to initial project phases by advising on design and strategic direction.
- Creating large-format, print-ready environmental graphic artwork. Acting as the gatekeeper for all print artwork or live shows, owning critical paths, and ensuring all print is tracked and delivered on time. Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Taking charge of all on-site installation projects, ensuring a thorough understanding of site layouts and specific parameters for each area. Coordinating with the project management team, gathering necessary site information, and conducting preliminary site visits to assess and document layouts.
- Working predominantly on experiential and live events. Able to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and take on challenges.
- Overseeing agency branding across all platforms, with excellent layout and typographic skills, proven print and artwork abilities, and a solid understanding of digital and social touchpoints (including social platforms and websites).
- Acting as a guardian of visual and executional standards, from PowerPoint deck templates to multi-channel visuals in Photoshop, crafting graphics in Illustrator, and demonstrating a keen eye for typography and layout.
- Leading sourcing and research for mood imagery and materials to support creative responses while producing high-quality visuals.
- Growing existing client relationships and managing communication channels when required.
- Strengthening the creative department by nurturing a creative culture with curiosity and collaboration. Supporting, mentoring, and sharing skills with team members whilst taking creative direction when needed.
- Taking ownership of file management, data storage, and archiving of all projects, supporting organisational systems.
