Engineering Curriculum Design Coordinator
Location: Havant, Portsmouth
About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced Curriculum Design Coordinator (Engineering) to join their team at the Havant Engineering Training Centre.
You will lead the review, enhancement, and delivery of engineering apprenticeship programmes, ensuring alignment with Skills for England and current standards. This role is key to refining course structures and maintaining high-quality learner outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily teaching timetables and resource allocation.
Collaborate with instructors to review and improve teaching methods.
Liaise with awarding bodies to integrate apprenticeship requirements into the curriculum.
Redesign classroom and digital (eLearning) course delivery.
Support the implementation of new programmes.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of engineering apprenticeship standards:
Level 3: Engineering Fitter, Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician, Engineering Technician (Technical Support), Machining Technician
Level 2: Engineering Operative
Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Strong IT skills with experience in data review and process improvement.
Sound understanding of curriculum design and educational best practice.
Ability to lead curriculum projects and work collaboratively.

We're seeking a Training & Instructional Design Consultant to join a high-profile public sector organisation's Leadership Academy. In this key role, you'll lead the design and delivery of learning experiences that create an impact, drive performance and align with strategic objectives.
About the Role:
Working within a multidisciplinary design team, you'll take ownership of developing structured leadership programmes using recognised instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles. From conducting Training Needs Analyses (TNA) to producing lesson plans, assessments and quality assurance documentation, you'll play a critical role in shaping the leadership capability of a major institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct TNAs to identify learning needs and performance goals.
Engage stakeholders and SMEs to ensure training aligns with organisational priorities.
Develop structured curriculums with clear learning outcomes using TOs, EOs and KLPs.
Apply learning taxonomies (e.g., Bloom's) to define and structure objectives.
Design assessments aligned to learning outcomes.
