The role supports the timely and compliant import, export, and re-export of F135 Propulsion System items used on the F-35 aircraft. The GT Manager is responsible for working closely with internal and external customers to develop process solutions to GT issues. The GT Manager will be focused on the management of Technology Export Controls with some customs activity.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Overall management of United Kingdom export and import licenses, applications, amendments, renewals, and general trade compliance. This includes applying for, obtaining and managing United Kingdom licenses and U.S. re-transfer/re-export authorizations. Ensure program activities remain within United Kingdom and U.S. government approved authorization scope, values and restrictions
+ Ensure international trade related activities are conducted in accordance with U.S. (ITAR, EAR, etc.) and United Kingdom laws and regulations, including imports, exports, re-transfers, re-exports, anti-boycott, sanctions, end-use / end-user restrictions. Manage screening records as applicable

+ Coordinate and support United Kingdom GT related registration and renewal activities.
+ Support and manage governmental inquiries and audits regarding GT activities
+ Maintain GT standard work in accordance with United Kingdom GT laws and regulations, as well RTX and Pratt & Whitney policies
+ Maintain applicable trade compliance records and metrics in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements for the United Kingdom and the U.S. Support/manage all GT related reporting requirements imposed by all applicable government regulations
+ When required, manage international trade related Power of Attorney and Standard Operating Procedures activities with United Kingdom customs brokers and other third parties, and ensure records are maintained and auditable
+ Monitor Site GT implementation, identify gaps, and implement controls. Implement GT related technology & access controls and facility & visitor controls, audit/assessment standard work

The International circulation team at Marketforce plans and executes the retail development strategy across all of Future's B2C magazine and bookazine print brands in the USA, Australia, and main export markets. The bookazine team also oversees the UK market for bookazine titles along with all e-commerce retail platforms, both internal and through sites such as Amazon.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Senior International Trade Marketing Associate, you will play a necessary part of the support function, providing a high level of administration and process management of Future's fast-growing area of bookazine and book publishing.

You will work with the Marketforce operations, and international teams, alongside Future Editorial and Production teams to ensure accurate bookazine schedule set-up, clear communication of title sell-ins and international target supply levels, issue planning and scheduling, and overseeing the Amazon and e-comm title set-up process.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
  • Experience with process management.
  • Translate sales data into clear actions and recommendations.
  • Construct creative sales marketing information that can grow online sales.
  • A working knowledge of google applications and excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Work with teams and coordinate activity across relevant departments.

About You:


  • Understanding of excel, word, and outlook.

The Role:


  • Email liaison with factories, supplier & buying office on packaging requirements/approvals.
  • Gather documents and evidence to ensure all products adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance documents, certificates, and reports, ensuring they are up to date.
  • Help conduct simple reviews or risk assessments of new products in line with guidelines.
  • Review & verify Bill of materials (BOM) of existing & new products.
  • Coordinate with the sales team on compliance queries from customers.
  • Work with relevant departments to ensure successful certification and adherence to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support senior staff in identifying compliance risks through data analysis, audits, and product reviews.
