What You’ll Be Doing:
As our new Groups & Event Planner , you’ll be the go-to expert for managing all confirmed group bookings across our hotels. Your mission: ensure every detail is flawlessly executed and every guest experience is seamless.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating all aspects of group bookings—from deposits and invoices to rooming lists and last-minute changes.
Managing cut-off dates and ensuring all deadlines are met.
Keeping hotel systems up to date with accurate inventory and group data.
Maintaining well-organized files for each group account.
Collaborating with Sales, Revenue Management, and Captains to align on upcoming groups.
Supporting forecasts for group room nights and event revenue.
What You Bring:
A sharp eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple processes across several hotels.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
A solid understanding of sales strategies and how they apply across different properties.
Excellent communication skills—you know how to build trust and rapport with clients.
Flexibility and adaptability—you’re comfortable navigating different systems and working styles.
Curiosity and tech-savviness—you pick up new tools quickly and love learning.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; 2 years’ experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area or degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
Knowledge of the group planning process
Team player
Any experience with booking / managing Meeting & Events is a big plus!

More about the role:
- Liaising with clients to identify, propose and confirm all event catering requirements
- Planning the delivery with the site operations and wider team to include locations, timings and numbers whilst ensuring all catering requirements are effectively communicated
- Adhering to the Levy’s pricing policies to maximise catering revenues and identify upselling opportunities
- Administer all event related correspondence ensuring all contractual documents, deposits and final invoices are issued and paid according to company guidelines
- Be fully conversant with the details of the event and sales handover
- Establish and maintain good client relationships and regular contact, ensuring that there is comprehensive understanding of the client requirements
- Create full and concise Event Catering Proposals to ensure these are seasonally appropriate and the menu fits with the guests/delegate demographic
