Part-Time Milker
Location of the Job:
County Durham.
Salary & Benefits Package:
This role is paid by hourly rate between £12 - £16 per hour, depending on experience.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time position.
Hours are:
4.30am to 8.30am, 2pm - 5.30pm. Every other Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
There are more jobs available should you wish to work during the middle of the day too.
About The Company:
A part-time Milker is now required to join a 5 strong farm team looking after 500 organic dairy cows on an award-winning unit.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
Milking cows as part of a team of 5.
Feeding cows with the feeder wagon.
Scraping out.
Bedding down.
Calf feeding.
Cubicle preparation while cows are milking.
General farm work duties as and when required.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…
Experience working on a dairy farm.
Experience with milking and feeding cows and calves.
Living within 30 miles commute of the farm.
