JOB TITLE: Farm Hand, Building / Estate Maintenance, Landscaper

A wide-ranging role, central to maintaining our 36 Acre Farm (Pasture, Hay, Alpacas, Bees, Ducks), Gardens and range of Buildings.

We are looking for someone with machine experience, Tractors / Attachments, Excavators and good all-round hands-on skills suitable for estate maintenance.

PERMANENT - FULL TIME

SALARY: Negotiable based on experience

£12.43/hr (£5850pa) - 5.15/hr ( 1500pa)

with substantial optional paid overtime and higher rate opportunities.

Including, 28 Days Holiday pa (inc BH), Company Pension Scheme, Expenses etc

LOCATION: Thornborough, Buckingham, Bucks

Applicants should reside in an easy commutable distance to location. This role is in a rural location with limited public transport so the applicant must have own transport.

DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED:

-UK Driving Licence (Required)

We require individuals who prefer being hands-on, have flexibility and a 'can do' attitude. They must be comfortable and competent to work independently and as part of team when required. Happy to work outdoors in all weathers and confident working with and around animals.

HOURS/DAYS

The foundation of the role is a 40 hour, 5 day week Mon-Fri. However, this role includes regular extended working hours and weekends (with weekdays off in Lieu), and includes regular opportunities for over time.

The Job Role Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Worker to join this agricultural team.

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the daily operations of the farm.

This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn about farming practices.

As Farm Worker you will engage in activities such as tractor driving and farm machinery operating, animal care, relief milking and farm equipment maintenance.

As well as seasonal field work such as carting corn and straw bales, drilling and general field maintenance including fencing.

Key Responsibilities:
You will…

• Drive tractors, carry out drilling and maintain the farm machinery.
• Conduct basic repairs on machinery and equipment as needed.
• Engage in heavy lifting as required for various farm duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas to promote safety and efficiency.
• Provide care for livestock, including feeding, cleaning, some milking, bedding and scraping.
• General farm maintenance work around the farm including field fencing.

• Experience driving tractors and operating agricultural and farming machinery.
• Experience working on a mixed / arable / dairy / livestock farm in a recent role.
• A full driving licence.
