CK Group are recruiting for a Data Acquisition Lead to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months.



Salary:

43-46 per hour PAYE or 57.76 - 61.79 per hour Umbrella (inside IR35)





Data Acquisition lead Role:

  • Representing on cross-functional initiatives to ensure that data collection and the downstream impacts are understood. In the case of new data sources you will be required to lead on the design and development of new processes to ensure effective and compliant data collection and delivery
  • Proactively establishing and cultivating relationships with internal and external suppliers of data to ensure the compliant and effective collection and/or access of meaningful data to further the safety strategy
  • Management and oversight of vendors to whom our processes have been outsourced to ensure that the work is carried out effectively and is compliant
  • Developing and/or implementing metrics, KPIs and business performance measures to forecast/monitor incoming data standards and supply trends and proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Addressing PV related questions/challenges/opportunities from data suppliers (including digital channels)
  • Working with other members of the Data Acquisition group to ensure data standards are understood and clearly communicated to data suppliers and stakeholders
  • Leading or contributing to corrective and preventive action plans (CAPAs) based on trend analysis, deviations and/or audit findings
  • Developing PV training requirements and creating PV related content for data supplier training materials, as appropriate


Your Background :

    • Appropriate (~4 year) industry experience in pharmacovigilance data
    • Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry (product development and the commercial environment) and of rapidly-evolving personalised healthcare environment and ecosystem
    • Well-developed influencing and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation, without direct authority.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, builds strong sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Proven ability to engage with new stakeholders effectively and with a high degree of comfort and confidence
    • Effective leadership, management and communication skills, with the ability to input and deliver on strategy

The requirementsnEssential:

Expertise in probability and statistics, gained through a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or similar.

You’ll Need To Have

8+ years of leadership experience in data acquisition, content licensing, or a similar role, including experience building and leading high-performing teamsnDeep expertise in the third-party market data ecosystem, including key vendors, content categories, and commercial/licensing modelsnA proven track record of defining and implementing strategy in a dynamic, fast-moving environmentnDemonstrated experience in developing scalable operational capabilities across global teamsnStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and alignment across internal business unitsnOutstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels including senior management
