Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Bioinformatician with a strong background in genomics data analysis to join their leading scientific research and development team in **Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK**. This vital role will involve the analysis of large-scale genomic datasets, development of computational pipelines, and collaboration with researchers to drive scientific discovery. Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement robust bioinformatics pipelines for the analysis of diverse genomic datasets (e.g., WGS, WES, RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq).

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and/or Perl.
  • Proficiency with command-line environments (Linux/Unix) and common bioinformatics software packages and databases.
  • Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis and associated tools (e.g., BWA, GATK, STAR, DESeq2).
