Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement robust bioinformatics pipelines for the analysis of diverse genomic datasets (e.g., WGS, WES, RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq).
- Perform complex data analysis, interpretation, and visualization of genomic and molecular data.
- Collaborate closely with biologists, geneticists, and other researchers to define project requirements and provide analytical support.
- Develop and maintain databases for storing and managing large-scale genomic data.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in bioinformatics tools, algorithms, and methodologies.
- Contribute to the development of novel computational methods and software tools.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing bioinformatics workflows.

- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in bioinformatics, with a focus on genomics data analysis.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and/or Perl.
- Proficiency with command-line environments (Linux/Unix) and common bioinformatics software packages and databases.
- Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis and associated tools (e.g., BWA, GATK, STAR, DESeq2).
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and machine learning techniques applicable to biological data.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a research environment.
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments is desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms for data analysis is a plus.
