**Experience, Qualifications:**

  • Enable advanced AI and ML use cases  by building pipelines for vector search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), feature engineering, and model deployment.
  • Ensure security and governance  through robust access controls, including RBAC, SSO, token policies, and pseudonymisation frameworks.
  • Develop resilient data flows  for both batch and streaming workloads using technologies such as Kafka, Airflow, DBT, and Terraform.
  • Shape data strategy and standards  by contributing to architectural decisions, authoring ADRs, and participating in reviews, data councils, and platform enablement initiatives.
Qualifications

  • Proven, hands-on expertise in data modelling, with a strong track record of designing and implementing complex dimensional models, star and snowflake schemas, and enterprise-wide canonical data models

**The team you'll be working with:**
We are seeking a pragmatic, detail oriented and experienced Lead Enterprise Data Architect to join our growing Data & AI practice. The ideal person for this role will have extensive Data expertise gained from working at senior management and C-level suite levels in one or many industries and will be responsible for leading client engagements, defining architectural frameworks, as well as defining high level operating models and governance frameworks for managing the Data Architecture. You will also love to collaborate with other Data professionals, engineers, and business or operations experts to understand and address their data needs.
As an 'Enterprise' Data Architect, you will be a trusted client advisor providing high-value data architecture strategy & TOM services, responsible for defining how Data fits into the wider Business and Technology Architectures which exist.
Although technology agnostic, you will have experience in shaping vendor assessments for the various components of the architecture and will work with Data Solution Architects who are responsible for defining, elaborating, and designing the physical layers of the architecture and data models.
You will share a passion for Data and how it can be used to develop Data Driven Businesses, innovative ideas and thrive in an environment that embraces collaboration with clients and internal teams to scope, plan and execute projects on time and within budget.
You will be expected to shape propositions and services, support sales activities, deliver client engagements, lead teams (on/near/far shore) and manage cross-functional client staff and stakeholders in a variety of contexts, covering multiple sectors, including telecoms and media, banking, insurance, public sector, manufacturing and automotive, energy & utilities, and retail.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in Data Architecture and demonstrable experience of delivering Data Architecture Projects utilising a broad range of methods and frameworks incorporating on-prem, cloud and hybrid models.
This role is London based but may involve travel within the UK and Europe and will require flexibility.
**What you'll be doing:**
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Input into and drive the creation of go-to-market propositions and services in Data Architecture.
+ Support client partners and practice leads in pre-sales activities.
+ Lead complex client engagements
+ Act as a go-to practitioner in delivering projects in the Data Architecture field.
+ Data Architecture Frameworks
+ Defining end-to-end Data Architectures
+ Leading and developing architecture teams
+ Joining the dots between Business, Technology and Data architectures
+ Input into the shaping of Data Architecture engagements.
+ Deliver Data Architecture engagements with/ for our clients.
+ Remain up to date with the continuous evolution in the Data Architectures and ensure that this knowledge is made available to the wider Data & Intelligence practice.

+ Peer level relationships within client organisations up to Chief Data Architect, CIO, CDO level
**What experience you'll bring:**
**Key Competencies:**
+ Deep and proven experience in defining, developing, and managing data architectures in large organisations and complex stakeholder environments.
+ The ability to demonstrate core consulting values.
+ Must be able to interface with and manage relationships with business, data and technology stakeholders at senior levels showing competence in all areas.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Proven expertise in data modelling and reference data architectures.
+ Data-oriented personality, great communication skills, and an excellent eye for detail.
+ Combination of technical, creative and business consulting experience.
+ Experience with consulting-led sales.
+ Extensive experience in either, or all, of the Telco-Media, Banking & Insurance, Public Sector, Manufacturing & Automotive, Retail sectors required.
+ Ability to operate in demanding situations whilst still having relentless drive to deliver with enthusiasm.
+ BS in Computer Science, Information Management or Information Technology is a plus.

+ Clear experience of implementing Enterprise Data Architectures.
**Required:**
+ Minimum of 5 years years experience in data, consulting, analytics or a related function involving quantitative data analysis to solve problems.
+ University Degree, BSc in Computer Science, Information Management, or Information Technology
+ **Must be eligible for SC clearance**

Responsibilities

Driving knowledge and understanding on the benefits and challenges of data across PwC and our clients.

Working closely with client EAs, CDOs and CIOs to educate and help them understand the different elements of data and how they fit into their architecture and business

Resolving key design decisions focusing on data architecture, data migration and solutions

Proactively assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients, reporting to Partner & Director Level

Developing project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients

Managing and delivering large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team

Being actively involved in business development activities to identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

Shaping and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria

Qualifications / What You’ll Need

You are an SAP data expert and evangelist

You have experience influencing Enterprise Architects, CDOs, CIOs and providing a point of view

You have extensive experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA and are able to talk about the benefits of Master Data, Data Quality, Data Migration and Governance

You have knowledge of SAP and non SAP Data Tooling, as well as knowledge of SAP best practice and the emerging SAP Roadmap

Previous experience from a top consulting firm is a plus, but excellent stakeholder management and relationship building is essential
