The Role

We’re looking for a strong Software Engineer with Data Engineering experience. Someone who is proficient in building robust, scalable, maintainable and thoroughly monitored data pipelines on cloud environments.

As a young and ambitious company in an extremely dynamic space, we pride ourselves on being independent, accountable, and organized, have a self-starter attitude, and be willing to get their hands dirty with day-to-day work that might be out of their official scope, while keeping an eye on their goals and the big picture.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the data's team micro services - Java / Python services running on K8S.
  • Tackle data duplication, velocity, schema adherence (and schema versioning), high availability, data governance, and more.
  • Develop, design, and maintain end-to-end ETL workflows, including data ingestion and transformation logic, involving different data sources.
  • Enrich financial data through third-party data integrations.
  • Develop and maintain our data pipeline written mostly in Java and running on K8S in a micro-service architecture.
  • Plan and communicate integrations with other teams that consume the data and use it for insights creation.
  • Ongoing improvement of the way data is stored and served. Improve queries and data formats to make sure the data is optimized for consumption by a variety of clients.

Requirements:

  • BSc. in Computer Sciences from a top university, or equivalent.
  • Strong background as a software engineer with at least 3+ years experience with Java.
  • 5+ years in data engineering, and data pipeline development on high-volume production environments.
  • 5+ years experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Datadog).
  • Experience working in fintech, crypto or trading industries, and familiarity with FIX is an advantage
  • Experience in object-oriented development. Should have strong software engineering foundations.
  • Experience with data-engineering cloud technologies as Apache Airflow, K8S, Clickhouse, Snowflake, Redis, cache technologies and Kafka.
  • Proven experience with relational and non-relational DBs. Proficient in SQL and query optimizations.
  • Experience with designing infrastructure at scale to maintain high availability SLAs.
  • Experience with monitoring and managing production environments.
  • Curiosity, ability to work independently and proactively identify solutions. Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a remote environment.

Key job responsibilities

-Manage a team of SSAs for Data and AI

-Interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as developers and technical architects, to develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line-revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.

-Develop and deploy sales motions and programs that leverage Field Sales teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.

-Collaborate with the Service and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, release plan.

-Collaborate with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.

-Technical Thought Leadership

-Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Specialist Solution Architects

-Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud

- Guide your team to find ways to scale tech knowledge via products, programs, and the AWS Field

-Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS SA community

-Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, datasheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices

Iron Mountain Data Centres (IMDC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Site Development Strategy to lead land and power acquisition efforts across the EMEA region. This leadership role is critical in identifying, qualifying, and securing sites for future data center development while ensuring long-term energy strategy and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding IMDC’s presence across EMEA and delivering on its commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.


Your role in our mission

  • Develop and execute IMDC’s site development strategy across key EMEA markets.
  • Source and evaluate land acquisition opportunities through brokers, developers, and local stakeholders.
  • Manage zoning, entitlements, permitting , and government approvals to ensure project readiness.
  • Lead EMEA energy strategy development , including power procurement and renewable initiatives.
  • Engage with utility providers to assess and secure power availability and delivery timelines .
  • Build and lead a regional team to support site qualification, regulatory processes, and infrastructure delivery.


Valued skills and experience

  • Numerous experience in data center, infrastructure, or commercial real estate development in EMEA.
  • Deep knowledge of site selection, permitting, and land acquisition processes across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in power strategy, utility negotiations , and renewable energy procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partners.
