We are currently recruiting for an Underwriting Data Insights Analyst to join our London team on a permanent basis.
At Travelers, our Portfolio Analytics teams leverage data, analytics, and business expertise to uncover actionable insights and help shape strategy. As an Underwriting Data Insights Analyst, you will use data-driven analysis to quantify insights and identify opportunities, whilst reporting, monitoring, and evaluating key trends. You will be responsible for communicating results effectively across a range of stakeholders and building strong relationships across multiple business and functional areas.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of insurance KPIs, along with experience in data visualisation tools such as Qlik or Power BI. You should have experience working with diverse data sources using analytics platforms or programming languages such as SAS, SQL, or Python, together with advanced knowledge of Excel. Experience applying AI in a professional capacity would also be highly beneficial.
Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. **What Will You Do?**
+ Analyse data to identify business trends and translate insights into business value.
+ Projects including unpicking legacy data cleansing and garnering insight particularly segmenting our book to ensure we select the optimal business mix. Work with cross functional teams on varying business initiatives.
+ Use data visualization to communicate the business story, and recommend solutions.
+ Support business intelligence with Proofs of Concept by leveraging knowledge of legacy systems and understanding what frontend Underwriters need to know.
+ Work with multi-level dimensional data towards the ultimate design required to meet business requests.
+ Complete reconciliations and validation tests to ensure results are accurate and understand potential issues with current processed.
