This role is pivotal in leveraging data to enhance athletic performance and strategic decision-making within various sports disciplines. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex performance data from training sessions and competitions, using advanced statistical techniques and specialized software. Your insights will be communicated to coaches, athletes, and management to inform training programs, tactical adjustments, and player development strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sports science principles, exceptional analytical and data visualization skills, and a proven ability to translate raw data into actionable recommendations. Experience with sports-specific analytics platforms (e.g., Hudl, Sportscode, StatsBomb) is highly desirable. This fully remote position requires excellent communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently while collaborating effectively with geographically dispersed teams. You will play a crucial role in identifying performance trends, evaluating player potential, and contributing to the overall success of our athletes and teams. - Assist in scouting and player recruitment by providing data-driven assessments.
- Collaborate remotely with coaching staff and support personnel.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in sports analytics and performance science.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive performance data.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Science, Performance Analysis, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sports performance analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python) and sports analytics software.
- Strong understanding of sports physiology, biomechanics, and tactical analysis.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities for remote delivery.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote setting.
