The person in data validation and management role will be responsible to provide timely, accurate, secured and accessible test data for wider engineering group to enable efficient engineering decisions.

- Delivering data quality reviews in order to support programme targets and prove out chosen technologies.

Location: Home based with occasional national travel and stay over as required
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Salary : 46K (Pro Rata)

We're working with a leading national contractor in the housing sector to recruit a Data & Quality Analyst to play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of operational data across various service areas.
Reporting to the Data Performance & Quality Lead, this is a hands-on role that focuses on data audits, integration support, system validation, and reporting enhancements. You'll work closely with IT, frontline teams, and product managers to help shape smarter, data-informed decision-making.
Data & Quality Analyst Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular data validation checks and audits
- Identify inconsistencies and root causes in operational systems
- Support mobilisation readiness with pre-launch data validation
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve data input accuracy
- Assist in monitoring and resolving system integration issues
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, etc.)
- Automate data cleansing and exception reporting tasks
- Provide insights that help boost service performance
- Maintain documentation for audits and governance processes
Data & Quality Analyst Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Background in data, QA, reporting, or systems analysis
- Tools: Strong Excel and/or Power BI skills
- Knowledge: Data governance, system interfaces, operational reporting

Looking to recruit a Data Quality Analyst with ideally experience in the Financial Services sector. You will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy, validity, consistency, completeness, timeliness, uniqueness of data across the business . You must have a strong background in collaboration as you will working across alongside department leads to ensure across the business on data quality issues and work with the business to identify and fix any data quality related issues.
Key Areas are to
- Strong experience of understanding in owning and managing data quality issues from inception to resolution addressing the root cause.
- Strong experience of understands data quality metrics and own the data quality dashboard including producing reports up to exec level.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality framework
- Strong understanding and experience in Data Migration
- Experiencing of chairing a data quality working group or similar
- Work closely with IT and the business by undertaking the following: data profiling, cleansing and validation exercise
- Strong experience in developing dashboards, preferably using tools such as Tableau, Power BI , or similar
