**PURPOSE**
Performs and oversees data management activities in order to provide high quality data that meets client/project needs. Ensures that data is processed and tracked in alignment with regulatory and quality standards.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Manage a Data Management Department, which could be either all data management staff at an office or a subset of staff (80-120) within a large Data Management office.
+ Provide strategic direction in the Data Management area.
+ Consolidate resource requirements and define staffing needs that ensure project objectives can be met while maximizing utilization, realization and minimizing costs.
+ Monitor and manage utilization and productivity. Ensure performance of staff is regularly assessed and documented. Define staffing needs based on hard backlog and strategic plan for office.
+ Define and implement department objectives consistent with broader office and regional objectives. Provide technical advice and solutions to solve problems and improve efficiency across functions, projects and customers.
+ Monitor quality and efficiency across projects to identify trends and opportunities for improvements. Ensure sharing of learning across projects and departments.
+ Participate in defining strategies for new processes and technology at either regional or global level. Ensure that staff is trained and compliant with current operating procedures and work instructions and project scope of work.
+ Work with peers within office and regions to define and implement training strategies. Mentor staff members to develop Data Management, drug development and business expertise.
+ Manage relationship with customer functional peers. Provide operational input into proposals for large programs and strategic partnerships. Provide input to costing algorithms and standard proposal text.
+ Attend customer meetings and lead discussions of project requirements and strategic planning. Recommend placement of projects based on staffing levels and hard backlog, technology requirements and customer relationships. Ensure compliance of work with project's scope of work.
+ Actively assess and manage project realization. Ensure project milestones are met according to agree upon timelines with high quality. May serve as a Data Management Customer Liaison for one or more customers. Manage staff in accordance with organization's policies and applicable regulations.
+ Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, and guiding professional development rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approve actions on human resources matters.
+ Establish and lead a Data Management Support Office framework to drive quality, consistency and efficiencies across a DM FSP model at IQVIA
+ Liaise with client counterpart and internal LT to understand Data Management Support Office business requirements and develop and execute plan to meet these requirements.
+ Provides direction and support to leads in each of the following areas:
+ Onboarding and Training - partnering with Customer Learning team to manage and deliver customer onboarding materials, DM role-based curricula/compliance, Train the Trainer etc.
+ Lead Support Office - establish structures to embed customer process/system/standards knowledge and support the institution of new customer lead roles at IQVIA.
+ Continuous Process Improvement - assess impact of customer process changes/establish structure for managing new ideas/process issues with customer.
+ Demand and capacity management.
+ Quality - managing QI investigations and CAPAs; eTMF Compliance.
+ KPI Reporting and Management

The Data Management Lab (DML) sits within the Data organization, supporting Data's pursuit of data management excellence by aligning industry best practices with Bloomberg's established expertise in financial market data. + Own and clean the resource data in workday which is the golden source. The team receives updates on resource data from multiple sources for example line managers and business supports. + Own, produce and publish the headcount data per month, per quarter and annual with the use of excel and power BI.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead daily team stand up via teams.

+ Creation of weekly reporting to HR to highlight changes. Method for this is excel macros.

**The role will include but not be limited to:**

**Data Management Specific:**

+ Responsible for ensuring adherence to Export Compliance, Manufacturing License Agreement (MLA's), Security and Intellectual Property regulations and Boeing information protection processes.

**Required qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):**
+ Good knowledge of contractual configuration management regulatory and International Standards.
+ A high level of knowledge of CM and programme management principles and processes.
+ Has Commercial and financial awareness.
+ General knowledge of design, test and manufacturing procedures.
+ Good knowledge of key functional disciplines including engineering, operations, Customer Support Training and procurement.
+ Excellent communication skills - verbal, written electronic across all levels.

A Senior Data Management Professional (DMP) is a key role within our organization responsible for providing domain expertise in both financial concepts and annotation program management, to the development of our AI products. This role will work across Electric machine, Electric Drive Unit (EDU), Inverter, Cell, Battery, Power in loop (PiL) and Vehicle in Loop (ViL) test beds. The person in this data validation and management role will be responsible in providing timely, accurate, secured and accessible test data for wider engineering group to enable efficient engineering decisions.

The specialist role requires an individual with knowledge of different testing environments data management and validation. The role will require you to work cross functionally to deploy a common approach to data piping, data validation tools as well to build a federated data platform. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Be responsible in data sources and data acquisition, data quality validation, data pipeline, data storage and data visualisation for physical test environment.
- Delivering data quality reviews to support programme targets and prove out chosen technologies.
- Develop calculations, parameterisation, regulations and process of in-house data tool development.
- Be responsible for confirming the facility is performing in repeatable and reproducible measurements compliant to regulations.
- Carry out correlation exercises between test facilities and test beds across test operation.
- Ensure continuous improvement of measurement quality by reviewing the measurement equipment, systems and methods used by providing data.
- Perform calculation and evaluation of test results, particularly of results from internal correlation measurements, and initiate corrective measures as required.
- Cooperate in projects for improving test bed consistency and repeatability (together with experts from internal departments and the Instrumentation & Test Systems business unit).
- Working closely with the subject matter expert for Data Quality ensuring that the team KPI's for Data Quality are met
- Recommend and justify process and other improvements to enable improved quality of data
- Research, communicate and implement best practice data quality methods and improve test field efficiency.
- Investigate best ways of working to make full use of equipment capability to improve data quality
- To continually encourage a growth mind-set across the team
- Coaching and facilitating in best technical practice, knowledge, methods in data validation and management for apprentice, new starter and existing team member development.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

- Educated to degree level in a natural science, mathematical or engineering or computing discipline.
