This is a critical role within our rapidly growing data organization, and you will be instrumental in enabling data-driven decision-making across the business. You'll work closely with engineering, marketing, product, and other internal teams to ensure our CDP is a powerful tool for understanding and engaging our users. You will report to the Head of Core Product. You will be responsible for: Product Ownership: Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our CDP and SCV, aligning with overall business objectives and stakeholder needs. Requirements Gathering: Proactively gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements from internal stakeholders (marketing, product, analytics, etc.) for data integration, access, and utilization. Data Source Integration: Oversee the integration of various data sources into the CDP, ensuring data quality, consistency, and completeness. This includes working with engineering teams to establish and maintain robust data pipelines. Single Customer View (SCV): Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive and accurate SCV, enabling a holistic understanding of our customers. Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) within the CDP and SCV. Implement and maintain data governance policies and procedures. Internal Product Integration: Define how data from the CDP/SCV can be integrated into our internal products and tools to enhance user experiences and drive business value. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with CDP vendors and other third-party data providers, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on the CDP roadmap, progress, and performance. You will be accountable for: Metrics & Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the CDP, such as data quality metrics, adoption rates, and the impact on business outcomes. Use data to drive continuous improvement. You will be supporting: Technical Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to translate product requirements into technical specifications and ensure timely and effective delivery. Your Skillset: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on data products. Data Expertise: Deep understanding of data management principles, data warehousing, data modelling, and schema design. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL. Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery. Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI. Strong understanding of API integrations. Solid understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR and other data capture regulations). Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to effectively manage and influence stakeholders across different departments and levels of seniority. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts 1 to non-technical audiences. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile environment. Please note that this role follows a hybrid work model, with a mandatory requirement to work onsite at our London offices at least two days per week. Nice-to-Haves: Experience with specific CDP platforms (Segment, Tealium, mParticle, Bloomreach, ActionIQ, etc.). Experience building and managing CDPs within media networks.
