Job Description
Look at the latest headlines and you will see something Ki insures. Think space shuttles, world tours, wind farms, and even footballers’ legs.
Ki’s mission is simple. Digitally disrupt and revolutionise a 335-year-old market. Working with Google and UCL, Ki has created a platform that uses algorithms, machine learning and large language models to give insurance brokers quotes in seconds, rather than days.
Ki is proudly the biggest global algorithmic insurance carrier. It is the fastest growing syndicate in the Lloyd's of London market, and the first ever to make $100m in profit in 3 years.
Ki’s teams have varied backgrounds and work together in an agile, cross-functional way to build the very best experience for its customers. Ki has big ambitions but needs more excellent minds to challenge the status-quo and help it reach new horizons.
What you will be doing
We’re looking for hands on Data Managers to join our growing Data Management team to support the continuous improvement and adoption of data management processes and technology for our agile squads and business teams at Ki.
In this role, you will work closely with internal Ki customers and stakeholders to embed a data quality culture, ensuring best practices are followed across Ki and developing data quality KPIs to help measure this. This role will involve you conducting impactful data analysis around our data quality, ensuring insights are actionable and accessible to key stakeholders, as well as using storytelling to translate these insights into meaningful narratives. Adoption of best practice across the organisation is key to success in this role so this candidate must be willing to be people facing.
This is a hands-on role, and you will be critical to the rollout of data quality and management and ensuring adoption of these standards and associated tools across Ki, and it will require you to confidently interact with data engineers and analysts as well as non-technical stakeholders.
We want to use a technology driven approach to scale how we identify, monitor and manage our data, so if you are looking for a role in which you can utilise your data management and technology experience, and make real impact in an organisation, this could be the role for you!
We’re looking for dedicated team members and innovative thinkers! If you have experience in a relevant role within the insurance industry and enjoy being part of an innovative Data team, we’d love to hear from you!
Our culture
Inclusion & Diversity is at the heart of our business at Ki. We recognise that diversity in age, race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, physical ability, thought and social background bring richness to our working environment. No matter who you are, where you’re from, how you think, or who you love, we believe you should be you.
You’ll get a highly competitive remuneration and benefits package. This is kept under constant review to make sure it stays relevant. We understand the power of saying thank you and take time to acknowledge and reward extraordinary effort by teams or individuals.

- Great communication and stakeholder management skills—you can translate tech into impact
- Exposure to ITIL/service management frameworks (ideal but not essential)
- A proactive, improvement-focused mindset—we want someone who sees both the big picture and the technical details
Why Join?
- Make a tangible impact by shaping a platform that powers decisions across the business

- Work on a modern data stack with opportunities to innovate, automate, and scale
- Engage with stakeholders across product, engineering, and business teams
