Job Description
This role is responsible for selling the organization’s products directly to new and existing customers within an assigned geographic territory or list of accounts. Ensuring continued sales growth within territory.
An Account Manager (AM) generates revenue on assigned accounts based on excellent relations management and account plan. AM spots up- and cross selling opportunities based on the vision and strategy of the customer. The AM is responsible for P&L and aftercare related to his customers and clearly adds value to the customer by providing high quality service and advice.
Requirements
- Creates and executes account plans based on template.
- Builds and maintains strong long-term relationships with customer
- Is responsible in having all work done covered by signed contracts
- Retrieves knowledge from presales and actively uses it for up and cross selling.
- Acts as bid-manager and is responsible for having proposal in time at customer. Proposal has gone through all approval-steps (if applicable)
- Creates the content of proposals by using standard items from the sales-kit (presales is not writing proposals)
- Gathers competitor information and market trends from his accounts and transforms it into an approach to gain more work within those account.
- Identifies and develops positive and compelling visions of the account’s future potential.
- Translates customer specific business into Quistor solutions by having clear (functional) understanding of our/Oracle solutions.
Competencies:
- Plans ahead and works in a systematic, organized and strategical way to realize account plan goals (budget). Plans work well in advance and anticipates on unforeseen circumstances
- Able to communicate efficient and effectively with (expert) consultants (technically as well functionally)
- Listens carefully, helps customers in achieving their business goals by advising best solutions.
- Excellent communication and convincing skills in English language (C1 level) and some other European languages. Successfully persuades and influences others. Relates to others in a confident and relaxed manner.
- Has at least high-level knowledge of our offerings and their USP.
- Computer literate with great skills in MS Office and CRM systems.]
Experience:
- 10 years working experience within the field of account management and consultancy.
- Excellent understanding, knowledge and experience in selling Oracle Applications. Primarily Oracle JD Edwards. Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle ERP Cloud and EPM is a nice to have.
- ·Extensive understanding, knowledge and experience in selling Managed Services
- Good understanding and knowledge Oracle Cloud Technology. Primarily Oracle Cloud Technology (Iaas & Paas), such as OCI & Database Cloud services
