Your team

The Group Data Management Office (GDMO) is a global team of 300 people responsible for embedding a data management culture by advocating for our strategy and proactively challenging the way the firm works with data.


This role sits within the Data Contracts service area in the DataOps team within GDMO.

The Data Contracts team is responsible for efficient and effective governance over producer / consumer relationships, in relation to data. This includes the strategy, minimum standards, methodology, processes and tooling to support effective producer/consumer agreements on data transfers.



Your expertise


Required:

  • Experience in Financial Services
  • Proven track record working within a data related environment , particularly one involving business change delivery
  • Proactive approach to managing workload, taking ownership of tasks and issues and seeing them through to completion within allotted timeframes
  • Ability to effectively take concepts to pragmatic solutions
  • Ability to apply a logical and detail-oriented analytical thought process to resolving issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (presentation, interpersonal); Experience of distilling key messages for senior partners
  • Attitude to challenge, influence and drive progress working with groups with differing priorities
  • Team player attitude, comfortable working across a broad set of peers and as part of a distributed team

Establish and lead a Data Management Support Office framework to drive quality, consistency and efficiencies across a DM FSP model at IQVIA. Role Overview


A vacancy has arisen within Site Services, Technical Services for an Environmental Data Management Support. The purpose of the post is to provide Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and environmental data management specialist support to manage land quality data in support of the site's programme of work. The job holder will be responsible for supporting land quality data management, performing data management, analytical and data reporting activities throughout the project lifecycle.

We are looking for someone to join our team who has experience in data and information handling and the ability to operate Microsoft and client specific data and information software systems. An eye for detail, drive to trace data issues and confidence to learn new software and systems will be beneficial.



Main Responsibilities

  • Interact with environmental specialists and other stakeholders to provide environmental information and datasets and to maintain compliance with standards for data quality
  • Support arrangements for reviewing, assessing and quality marking land quality data
  • Support the continued effective operation, maintenance and development of data management systems
  • Perform the responsibilities of management appointments relevant to post


Aptitudes & Experience

  • HNC in Science, Engineering, or Business or equivalent qualifications plus experience
  • Relevant GIS and Environmental data management experience
  • Demonstrable nuclear/industrial experience
  • Ability to work on own initiative, but also as part of a team
  • Post specific capability analysis assessment
