+ The Project SME will act as Customer Operations representative on the commissioning phase/s of the Telehouse South project to ensure that all equipment is functionally tested and handed over to operations in its as designed condition.

**Responsibilities**
**Health & Safety**
+ Responsible for standardising the local Health & Safety program to align with the corporate program to ensure full coverage and compliance. Ensuring all areas during project delivery and handover are to contractual requirement and governance.
+ Equipment Maintenance Planning
+ Create or validate a Scope of Service (SoS) for each unique equipment type.
+ The SoS will contain the maintenance strategy, frequencies, durations, and detailed work scope based on engineering reliability methods, the manufacturer's recommendations, site conditions.
+ Interface with Customer Project Team
+ Undertake IST, witness testing and attend factory acceptance testing. Develop library of OEM literature and drawings to populate site grab packs and procedures.

**Quality Assurance**
+ Manage the on-going effort to modify and create processes and procedures in the areas of service delivery, operational readiness, safety, compliance, and administration.
+ These processes and procedures will be reviewed and enhanced on a regular basis either as a result of feedback from the field, and or project or as part of a scheduled periodic review.
**Quality Control**
+ Manage technical review and approval of critical procedures, monitor program compliance, conduct audits and evaluate program effectiveness.
**Quality Improvement**
+ Translate process observations and measurements into process improvements locally and coordinate with CBRE to ensure processes remain standardised across CBRE.
**Change Management**
+ Responsible to run a standardised CBRE formal change control process in conjunction with the client system for the local site and where needed, the wider portfolio. Ensure proper preparation, work procedures and documentation, notifications, follow-through activities and exception handling are in place for maintenance activities.
**Process Analysis and Design**
+ Responsible for representing the site for the analysis and design of all critical environments programs.
+ Drive the continuous improvement of Energy performance for the site and where needed across the portfolio.
**Critical Environment Risk Management**
+ Ensure the CERMTM methodology is embedded across the Site. Form part of CMT (Crisis Management Team),
+ Attend to and take all necessary action, statutory or otherwise, in the event of incidents and take such action as may be appropriate.
+ Be prepared to undertake investigations of incidents or accidents to ensure impartial and Technical Advice and direction to ensure as far as possible the incident or accident does not occur again.
+ To ensure that systems and processes are in place to for compliance to agreed CBRE DCS standards.
**Training**
+ Responsible for training or coordination of training for all CBRE critical environments programs, training on new systems and processes.

**Job Summary**
This role will consist of multiple departmental disciplines including but not limited to: Engineering, Documentation creation and amendments, build technician, Quality control and any other function as deemed necessary by the IDCS Manager based on workload and resource demands.
The International Lead Integration Data Centre Services Build Technician's role is to facilitate complex build Integration projects moving builds forward to meet targeted customer delivery schedules. This lead provides direction and guidance to a team of technical resources. They work with several different groups including technical specialists, automation/scripting developers, network engineers, quality control group, and build technicians. Our International Lead IDCS Build Technician is expected to acquire knowledge and experience in all facets of the build process, from inception to the completed product including QC support.
This Lead effectively and accurately creates and conveys requirements to the build team whilst leading by example' and being the technical expert and technical escalation point for the IDCS team. The International IDCS Lead Technician will build and guide resources daily while leading successful deployments to final product delivery.
This position will be reporting to the IDCS manager and will be required to report to the SHI UK Nexus office location as determined by SHI management.
**Role Description**
Include, but are not limited to:
+ Be the technical expert to a group of build technicians, providing support to move the team towards successful project completion.
+ Decipher customer documentation and specifications to turn a logical construct into a physical build. This includes understanding what components in quantity and type comprise the build and how those parts should be configured and installed.
+ Direct rack and stack of hardware into cabinets, following customer elevation documentation
+ Learn the customer labelling process and naming standards for power and network and be able to meet the quality control expectations for that labelling
+ Conduct power testing and respond to any DOAs by debugging and then opening tickets with appropriate hardware vendors as necessary
+ Work with the automation team in creating and deploying custom scripts to complete hardware verification and populate files with output.
+ Using customer and internal documentation, assist the IDCS manager to perform QC checks by means of thorough reviews of builds to verify they are being built to spec.
+ Attend internal meetings to report status on current build projects
+ Work with the wider IDCS TEAM to provide skills training and mentoring to build technicians
+ Working with the Documentation Specialist, create and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
+ Work closely with warehouse teams to advise on crating status and any delays potentially impacting the shipping schedule whilst providing support to the warehouse where required.
