Audit & Risk Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a very well known group in the media sector. Our client is a large, highly complex organisation with a challenging Risk profile. This role reports to the Head of Risk Management and will be responsible for managing risks associated with Compliance across the whole business, as well as preparing quality, timely reports for a selection of governance committees.
Key tasks include:
- Taking accountability for compliance risk deliverables and outputs, including the preparation of compliance reports
- Work with stakeholders to identify compliance risk areas and vulnerability. Monitor compliance and assurance activity, and create remediation plans as necessary.
- Draft Executive-level summaries for senior stakeholders detailing compliance issues, findings and outcomes

Our Regulations team is responsible for acquiring and providing key regulatory data to our clients. We collect, analyse, process and publish the data which is the backbone of our iconic Bloomberg Terminal - the facts and figures which ultimately move the financial markets.
Reference data for regulatory reporting plays an ever-increasing role in our clients' workflows, and the Data team fulfills a meaningful function in supporting Bloomberg users with regulatory change. We analyze regulation, determine the reference data needs, and make this data available on the Terminal in order to support the regulatory reporting needs of our clients. We are the cornerstone of several of Bloomberg's regulatory solutions.
**What's the role?**
Regulations is looking for a highly motivated and driven Team Leader to cover data management, data quality and data processes. You will play a critical role in developing and leading a team of data professionals with diverse experience and expertise spanning across several functions and subject matter areas. You will guide your teams to think strategically, apply data management best practices to their data sets, and to deliver quality data that is ready to use and fit for purpose. **We'll Trust You To:**
+ Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of domain experts and data management professionals through processing time-sensitive, high-quality financial data, data analysis, and project management
+ Partner with other data and core business groups, such as Enterprise Product, Product, Sales, News and Engineering to help develop and improve fit-for-purpose data that powers our products
+ Design and implement proactive data quality management supported by client-focused metrics and process observability
+ Develop data modeling and ETL skills within the team and collaborate with Engineering teams to develop a robust data product that can deliver value across multiple client-facing products
+ Build processes and standards that enable delivery of data that meets or exceeds client SLAs and supports superior customer service

**You'll need to have:**
+ 4+ years of relevant leadership experience or strong relevant experience as an individual contributor*

+ Demonstrable experience with data analysis using tools such as Python, SQL, and/or Tableau
+ Understanding of regulations and the impact on financial markets
+ Ability to spot market trends and act on them to enhance depth and breadth of coverage
