What you will get up to as a Delivery Driver:

• You'll start your day loading and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver plumbing products to businesses, completing approx. 10–15 drops daily following a pre-routed delivery schedule.

• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and ensure your van remains clean, tidy, and fully roadworthy.
• Load, transport, and unload items securely, ensuring all goods are handled with care.
• Use navigation tools, including Max Optra software, to plan the most efficient delivery routes.
• Collect customer signatures and capture photo proof of delivery.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues promptly using company reporting systems.
• Assist in various warehouse duties if returning before shift end with training provided
• Operate company mobile devices to manage tasks and track deliveries in real-time.
• Work collaboratively with other departments, reporting any customer queries or order errors to help improve overall operations.

Requirements:

- To be successful, you must meet the following:

- Over 30 years of age (for insurance purposes).

- A full, clean UK driving licence.

- Experience driving a long wheelbase van.

- Previous delivery and/or warehouse operations experience.

- Ability to safely lift up to 25kg.

- Strong geographical knowledge of London, Essex, and surrounding areas.

- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above).

- A reliable, customer-focused, and safety-conscious approach.

- Able to keep up with demand of faced paced environment
