We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Salesforce Manager with a strong background in designing and delivering Salesforce solutions across the lead-to-cash business process lifecycle, with a specific focus on the Energy, Resources and Industrials (Oil, Gas and Chemicals) industries. The ideal candidate has deep industry expertise and can effectively translate business requirements into scalable and compliant Salesforce solutions across the lead-to-cash business process.
Business Analysis, Configuration & Functional Design
- Perform business analysis, configuration and functional design activities across Discovery and Implementation project phases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across different functions involved in the lead-to-cash lifecycle.
- Plan and execute engaging, high quality functional workshops to elicit business needs.
- Design and document scalable and compliant Salesforce solutions to meet business needs, leveraging your Salesforce product knowledge, industry expertise and lead to cash process expertise.
- Support client Product Owners in the creation and upkeep of product backlogs, acting as a trusted advisor to provide recommendations based on understanding of business need, value drivers, industry expertise and Salesforce functional knowledge.
- Support clients in managing design scope.
Project Management
- Contribute to the creation and management of workstream plans.
- Assist in the management of project delivery across end-to-end project lifecycle including change management, hypercare, testing and knowledge transfer.
- Identify, raise, manage and mitigate workstream risks and issues.
- Contribute to the development and management of high performing workstream teams to deliver high quality value to our clients.
Roadmap planning
- Perform current and target state process design, including how business / organisational processes are enabled by technology.
- Create product and capability roadmaps that incorporate factors such as business priority, logical order of build, architectural transition states, timelines and cost, aligned to the service blueprint.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and Salesforce product releases, evaluating and recommending new features and functionalities to enhance employee and customer experiences.
Business Development
- Support RFP responses and other pre-sales activities.

- Background in client-facing Functional Consultant roles on large scale, digital transformation programmes enabled by Salesforce across an organisation's lead to cash lifecycle within the Energy, Resources and Industrials (Oil, Gas and Chemicals) industries.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities across lead-to-cash, in particular configure-price-quote (CPQ), contracting, billing, invoicing, and asset management related process areas; experience in the hands-on configuration of the Salesforce platform to enable these process areas.
- Experience in both Discovery and Implementation project phases.
- Experience with product roadmap definition.
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements through a variety of methods (including workshops, interviews, qualitative and quantitative data analysis).
- Experience in delivering high quality artefacts including design blueprints, process documentation, user stories and acceptance criteria, user personas etc.
- Experience participating in teams using Agile-based delivery frameworks; experience in leading small to medium sized teams preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant or equivalent) are essential; CPQ, contracting and billing related product (Salesforce or other) experience preferred; Salesforce Revenue Cloud experience desirable.
- Experience collaborating across other programme workstreams including data and migration, integration, project management, architecture build, testing and release, to manage risk and ensure end to end delivery success.
- Core project management experience, including risks, issues, actions and dependencies, as well as workstream level planning.
- Experience contributing to RFP responses and other pre-sales activities (e.g. storyboarding, research, demo set ups, pre-sales conversations, estimations etc.).
- Ability to travel (potentially abroad) to client sites 80-100% of the time.
