About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Nurse, with the potential to step into or further develop as a Head Dental Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team in Chester-le-Street, where patient care and clinical excellence are at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide chairside support to clinicians across a wide range of dental treatments.
Uphold the highest standards of cross infection control, decontamination, and surgery preparation.
Assist in the supervision, training, and development of junior team members (for Head Dental Nurse responsibilities).
Support with stock control, ordering, and ensuring surgeries are fully equipped.
Accurately maintain patient records and assist with reception/administration as required.
Deliver excellent patient care, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
Key Requirements:
GDC registered Dental Nurse (essential).
Previous experience as a Dental Nurse; experience in a senior or lead role is desirable but not essential.
Strong knowledge of cross infection and decontamination procedures.
Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Professional, reliable, and committed to continuous learning and development.
