In this exciting opportunity you will be responsible for deployment of local software, updates, patches and activating the latest and greatest features for our restaurants from our global restaurant and digital platforms. You will also be accountable for the technology testing strategy and quality assurance process ensuring that testing and deployment is repeatable and ongoing continuous improvement and automation is in place.
What will my accountabilities be?
+ Create and establish a routine for delivering accurate and timely updates on team progress and key metrics consistently helping your senior leader stay informed to make data-driven decisions, foster trust and reliability within the leadership structure.
+ Ensuring that the team has well-defined goals aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives. Regularly track and review performance metrics to ensure accountability and continuous improvement across the team.
+ Accountable for the frequent deployment of new global platform releases into our restaurants, working closely with the LIOM Segment and Global product/platform owners to understand what releases will be available when and ensuring that all new software deployments are planned and sequenced to minimise restaurant disruption.
+ Accountable for liaising with Segment and Global product teams accountable for quality improvements across all global products
+ Liaise closely with Change Planning team to share what releases will go live when and therefore the timeline for new features becoming available to the business for activation.
+ Continued focus on engaged collaboration between Service Delivery Leadership, and fast management of incident remediation and deployment planning inclusive of production incident pulse checks.
+ Accountable for deployment readiness; ensuring your direct direct reports that are market product owners are managing restaurants & partners to complete necessary checks needed to be performed and completed ahead of any deployment activity.
+ Work closely with the Pricing and Promotions Leadership to ensure a streamline approach and support to all future promotional activity is tested end to end and supported through deployment to the estate on all channels.
+ Lead your team in accordance with the company values and develop talent and career progression within the team. Ensure that succession planning is in place and that there are no key individual dependencies.
+ Accountable for communication with restaurants about the status and timing of planned deployments and engagement with Technology Adoption team.
+ Confident creation and delivery of presentations to Regional, National, Senior Leadership and Tech Committee groups.
+ Accountable for the deployment budget and reporting of spend against plans.

OQC currently has an exceptional opportunity for a talented Deployment Project Manager to help deliver on the world's first Quantum Computer deployments into collocated data centres both in the UK and Globally.

Role
As the Deployment Project Manager you’ll manage and plan all future deployments of our Quantum Computers into multiple global locations. You will have full end-to-end responsibility for all deployments, create real-time project reporting for all execs, build and manage existing/new customer relationships and work closely with cross functional teams to ensure a smooth deployment before passing over to a service operations team.
This is a hands-on role; you’ll be expected to create project plans, and also play a large part in the actual delivery of the project. With a global presence, some international travel will be required and the ability to work across different time-zones.
This is a pivotal role in OQC’s growth over the next few years. You’ll get the opportunity to help shape our deployments and the opportunity to work on projects that are unique, setting the trend in the quantum computing world.

- Excellent experience as a project manager with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Experience of deploying live systems into a real-time production environment
- Strong coaching experience to help lead and guide our project teams
- Ideally have some experience of working in a global role with the ability to build relationships internationally
