In this challenging role, you'll lead the mechanical design, development, and optimization of next-generation Energy Store (ES) systems for Formula 1 racing, focusing on enhancing power density, performance, and safety under the extreme conditions of motorsport.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for the Energy Store (ES) used in F1 power units.
• Conduct engineering design and qualification efforts for ES systems, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of F1 racing.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions for ES packaging, weight reduction, and integration within the F1 power unit.
• Collaborate with electrical, chemical, and thermal engineers to optimize the mechanical aspects of battery cell arrangements and connections.
