- Control design and procurement of tooling, jigs, mechanical devices and manufactured components in accordance with business needs and the manufacturing road map to support the realisation of production targets.
- Set high standards for technical engineering drawings providing guidance and peer support inclusive of drawing checking.
- Complete mechanical design NPI deliverables for new products, including tooling & documentation for prototype manufacture, utilising lessons learned.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role :
- Degree in Mechanical engineering or relative discipline
- Good working knowledge of SolidWorks (or other similar 3D CAD programs), Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience of manufacturing automation development/implementation
