I am currently recruiting for a company in Bristol who need a senior level engineer to work on both the electrical design and software of special purpose machinery, used in a variety of industries.

An ideal background for this role would include previous exposure to work with special purpose machinery, however this is not totally necessary. The main requirement is someone who is capable with both electrical design (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and software design (Rockwell, Beckhoff, Zenon etc), with a number of years experience behind them in this field.

Salary available is up to 58k, and comes with benefits including 1 day per week remote working, paid overtime available, company pension scheme & more.

What Are We Looking For?

RSE Controls (Saftronics) is looking to recruit a Senior Software Design Engineer that will be responsible for the development, commissioning and support of automation and control systems. RSE Controls are a specialist business in the MCC and power control sector, and you’ll be working alongside an established team to deliver control system solutions to the water industry. 

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

• The design, specification, programming, simulation and testing of automation and control systems.
• Developing, troubleshooting, and validating these systems in a compliant manner.
• Generate documentation and SOPs associated with each of the Automation systems as required.

• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) and Vision Systems in the process control environment.
