About the Role
As a CAD Design Specialist, you'll play a vital part in the design and delivery process, producing accurate 2D CAD drawings that guide project fabrication and installation. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and installation teams, translating concepts, site data, and technical inputs into practical, installation-ready drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed and accurate 2D CAD drawings for manufacturing and installation purposes.
- Interpret site data, sketches, and notes to produce reliable technical documentation.
- Update and maintain existing CAD drawings in line with revisions or feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure designs meet technical and functional requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, codes, and best practices.
- Organise and manage drawing files for efficient retrieval and version control.
- Prepare final drawing sets to support project handovers.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven work/employment experience as a CAD Technician, Designer, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret sketches, survey data, and technical input.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Knowledge of construction or installation processes (advantageous but not essential).

An exciting opportunity has come up for a Digital Graphic Design Specialist to join our team at DK Household Brands. We are a premium housewares brand, with a portfolio of distinguished brands including Cole & Mason, Zyliss, Culinare, AdHoc, Ken Hom and Swissmar.
This newly created role will support the ecommerce and wider sales teams by developing high-performing digital assets across DK Household Brands’ six-brand portfolio. The goal is to transform existing high-quality photography into optimised ecommerce content that drives engagement and conversion across all key digital touchpoints.
This includes designing and delivering:
- Amazon image stacks
- Amazon A+ content
- Amazon Brand Store assets
- Direct-to-consumer (D2C) ecommerce imagery
- Channel-specific image resizing and reformatting (e.g. for marketplaces like Kaufland, Bol, Walmart)
- Digital marketing creatives
- Email campaign visuals and banners
You’ll collaborate closely with ecommerce, marketing, and sales teams to ensure every asset meets brand standards, channel requirements, and commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and optimise digital assets for ecommerce platforms and marketplaces, with a focus on Amazon (image stacks, A+ content, Brand Stores).
- Adapt existing photography into high-converting imagery tailored to each channel and platform.
- Produce channel-specific versions of visual content for D2C websites, online retailers, and marketplaces.
- Design creative assets for digital marketing use, including paid media banners, email campaigns, and promotional content.
- Ensure all assets are aligned with brand guidelines while tailored for digital performance and user experience.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously across different brands, responding to seasonal and campaign-driven needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret briefs, understand commercial objectives, and deliver against key performance outcomes.
- Continuously explore and test new design approaches to improve performance and user engagement.
Knowledge & Skills required:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is essential.
- Experience designing assets for Amazon and other digital retail platforms, with an understanding of conversion levers and content standards.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce content best practices, particularly for marketplaces and mobile-first experiences.
- Excellent layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills - able to communicate value through imagery.
- Familiarity with requirements for resizing and formatting images across different digital platforms and devices.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of concurrent projects across multiple brands with competing timelines.
- Collaborative and communicative, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and ecommerce teams.
Additional requirements:
- A portfolio showcasing digital design work, ideally with examples of ecommerce or product-based content.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, adaptive environment where requirements may shift.
- Willingness to learn and stay current with digital trends, tools, and platform requirements.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Helipad/ VTOL Design Specialist to join our growing aviation business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all helipad and VTOL advisory, planning and design services as well as having a remit to grow our client base in this area. Whilst the focus is on helipads there is also an opportunity to get involved in other areas of airport development projects if you possess these skills. There is also an opportunity to grow WSPs capability in eVTOL and vertiport advisory, planning and design services. The candidate should be fully aware of both existing and developing VTOL and eVTOL regulations.
**A little more about your role.**
+ Design and develop helipad layouts and infrastructure for both surface-level and elevated helipad installations
+ Prepare concept through to detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and reports
+ Lead technical and feasibility studies for VTOL/ eVTOL operational requirements
+ Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety regulations and aviation guidelines including ICAO, FAA and EASA.
+ Lead or contribute to multidisciplinary project teams delivering innovative aviation solutions.
+ Conduct site visits and condition inspections where required
+ Safeguarding of existing VTOL/ helipads and associated infrastructure.
+ Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate helipad designs into broader project plans where required.
+ Provide technical support and guidance to clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, best practices, and regulations in helipad design and VTOL/ eVTOL.
+ Develop a strategy for increasing WSP UK's Client base for providing helipad, VTOL/ eVTOL advisory, planning and design services.
+ Represent WSP in relevant industry forums and working groups.
**What we will be looking for you to demonstrate.**
+ Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools is preferred but not essential
+ Strong knowledge of aviation safety regulations and standards
+ Familiarity with VTOL/ eVTOL emerging technologies
+ Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide wider aviation technical guidance where required.
+ Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
+ A degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Aviation Planning, or a related field is preferred but not essential
