**Your transferable skills and experience:**
+ Experience in producing high quality solutions and documentation using a structured approach for components with varying degrees of complexity.
+ Demonstrable experience in the creation, or modification, of a variety of design artefacts (Architecture Overview Documents, High-Level Designs and Low-Level Designs) for Microsoft Windows Server solutions, both physical and virtual.
+ Experience of steering solutions through several quality gates.
+ The ability to produce, support and maintain work packages throughout the Customer Solution Lifecycle.
+ Experience in requirements management and associated tooling.
+ Experience of working on secure infrastructure solutions Including demonstrable experience of the design and implementation of security policies following the appropriate guidelines, experience in Secure by Design (SbD) advantageous.

**Role Overview**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AWS Architect with strong DevOps expertise to support digital transformation across the UK public sector. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, is hands-on with cloud technologies, and can operate both strategically and tactically. You will be instrumental in designing and delivering secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Architect and implement secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud solutions.
+ Lead DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
+ Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
+ Drive cloud adoption and DevOps transformation initiatives across public sector projects.
+ Ensure compliance with UK public sector regulations and security standards.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end cloud-native solutions.
+ Mentor engineering teams and promote best practices in cloud and DevOps.
+ Take initiative in identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
**Essential Skills & Experience:**
+ Several years of hands-on experience with AWS architecture and services.
+ Strong DevOps background with experience in automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
+ Proficiency with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
+ Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
+ Solid understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
+ Demonstrated experience working in or with UK public sector organizations.
+ Active UK Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
+ Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive initiatives forward.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills; a true team player.
**Desirable Qualifications:**
+ AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
+ AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
+ Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
+ Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies

**Infrastructure Architect - SQL Focused**
**Location:** Basingstoke - 5 days a week - Office based

**Your role**
We are looking for a infrastructure architect to work as part of a multi skilled agile team, including security, service and management where teamwork is paramount. Your role will involve:
+ The successful candidate will work as part of a multi skilled agile team, where teamwork is paramount. The role will be challenging and varied, where cross training is expected, and challenges shared.
+ The successful candidate will have the responsibility of owning the delivery of a work package from design, through prototyping, ensuring the work package meets functional and non-functional requirements. The skills necessary to troubleshoot and problem solve. The candidate will script repeatable unit tests to exercise functionality, which will account for desired and undesired outcomes.
+ The candidate will continue to support the work package through user piloting and into production and will continue to be on hand to provide early life support, as well as creating and maintaining support and design documentation to assist users and support personnel in maintaining the work package throughout its life.
+ The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of ongoing change to the work package, in response to evolving user requirements.
**Your experience**
Candidates must an advanced knowledge of:
+ SQL Server
+ **The following is also desirable but not essential:** Microsoft Windows systems administration within an enterprise environment - delivery of configuration change via GPO, Registry, Filesystem, Powershell cmdlets or, WMI, as well as Windows Update and patching mechanisms, including Windows Installer.
