Basic Qualifications

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs of equipment and systems.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a total facilities systems management program which includes all the various connected and separate electrical, mechanical, fire and life safety systems that are operational in a facility.

  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to system operations and work safety.

  • Inspect systems to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieve operational conditions prescribed by the client.

  • Oversee scope development, work request initiation, scheduling, and inspection of work performed by outside contractors, which includes proprietary work, licensed installations, upgrades, and maintenance and inspection of specialised systems.

  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning assistance as needed.

  • Review assigned work orders. Estimate time, and resources, and order necessary materials to complete all repairs.

  • Complete all required and assigned training at a satisfactory level.

  • Participate in all related programs & activities as required. This includes incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment.

We are seeking an experienced Cost Systems Engineer to provide functional support for EcoSys (Cost Management System) and associated reporting across a major infrastructure project. This is a key role in supporting the implementation and assurance of cost and change management processes, with a strong focus on system configuration, data integrity, and stakeholder engagement.

This role is ideal for a professional with proven experience using EcoSys in a complex project environment, who is confident aligning cost and change control principles with both client and supply chain-delivered scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage EcoSys configuration activities to ensure optimal functionality across the project.
  • Develop and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS), including integration with P6 scheduling codes.
  • Align cost structures to scheduled activities to ensure accurate cost control and forecasting.
  • Drive the implementation of digital solutions and systems that create value across capital projects and asset management programmes.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of cost systems and digital tools to improve performance, reporting, and transparency.
  • Perform regular cost control analysis and system assurance reviews independently.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of cost monitoring standards, techniques, and reporting protocols.
  • Contribute to cost baseline allocation, ongoing cost control, and reporting for specific disciplines or project segments.
  • Ensure cost reports are consistent, accurate, and aligned with project timelines and scope.
  • Prepare cost studies based on historical data, statistical methods, and quantity analysis.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree or equivalent in Business Analysis, Accounting, Finance, Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong working knowledge of EcoSys , including extensive configuration experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project cost control and change management processes within a major project environment.
  • Proven ability to manage cost alignment with schedule activities, including P6 integration.
  • Experience implementing digital project controls solutions.
  • Advanced understanding of cost management system architecture and reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with engineering, procurement, construction, and startup (EPC) workflows.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
Desirable:
  • Experience in major nuclear, energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Professional certification in project controls, cost engineering, or related fields.

Your missions :

Support the creation and execution of technology roadmaps aligned with Spark’s vision and strategy

Lead benchmark activities and supplier evaluations along with Supply Chain and Quality teams

Lead the design, development and validation of Battery Packs from concept to production

Main responsibilities:

- Lead the development of Battery Management Systems (BMS)

- Lead implementation and validation of the Battery Management Systems

- Contribute to the definition of battery Design Validation Plans (DVP)

- Support customers for all BMS related topics

- Produce full battery system functional analysis and requirement specification

- Contribute to the sizing and selection of power distribution unit end electrical components in battery systems

- Support Project team to meet or exceed all targets (technical, quality, cost and delivery)

- Mentor and train junior team members on battery systems activities and related topics

Your profile :

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering area (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar)

- In‐depth knowledge and understanding of High Voltage Battery architecture, design, simulation and testing

- Experience in battery systems ideally for Motorsport or high performance applications, but not a must.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to summarize and make clear technical recommendations

- Self‐starter with the ability to work with high level instruction and seek out data and support from other teams

- Team‐oriented individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Fluent English and willingness to learn French

**Power Systems Design engineer - Substation Design and Protection Design**
You will be joining NTT Data UK and Ireland Power Engineering division. You will be driving the UK's transition to a modern power grid by accelerating connections analysis, new connections design, new power infrastructure projects design and new energy generation and storage projects design.
**What experience you'll bring:**
+ Experience in design of power distribution and transmission infrastructure
+ Experience in power Protection systems design and testing
+ Experience in Power systems analysis - Load Flow, Thermal constraint and Voltage analysis
+ Understanding of power systems electrical equipment - Switchgear, Substation equipment, Overhead cables
+ Specific experience in substation design up to UK Grid Supply Point (GSP) level - 132KV
+ Experience in Protection relay settings
+ Experience with Real Time Systems in a Power Distribution context
+ Experience in physical implementation of connections and reinforcement
+ Familiarity with network planning applications such as DigSilent Powerfactory, Protection Design toolsets and Substation design toolsets
+ Capability and experience in preparing technical reports in a UK context compliant with UK Grid codes for Power Distribution
+ A Masters degree or PhD in Power systems engineering is ideal. A bachelors degree in electrical engineering is acceptable,
