AS THE Supply Chain Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for the resolution of issues to ensure continual flow of goods into the business.
About you
The successful Supply Chain Coordinator will have previous experience of working within a Supply Chain or distribution environment and ideally will have had exposure to forecasting/modelling with Excel.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain, influence and develop relationships is a key requirement for this role.
· Liaise both internally and externally to manage stock levels ensuring materials and product testing for stock is available on time
· Raise Purchase Orders within the system, querying invoice resolution and ensuring invoice price discrepancies are minimalised
· Maintain the Materials Requirement System and ensure Forecasts are aligned to Production and Commercial Forecasts
· tracking shipments from overseas, overseeing stock counts and maintaining reports of purchases and pricing.
· Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS)
· Work with customers to understand their product estimates against previous sales history to ensure the correct supply of stock
· Track shipments and address any delays, working with factories to manage the packaging and approval process of the goods
· Managing the container fill and the shipment of goods from India and China
· Coordinate regular inventory audits
· Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to test products’ quality (status upon delivery and storage conditions)
· Keep updated stock records and identify any areas where stock may be different on the systems to the stock available
· Ensure purchases do not exceed budget
· Updating and managing critical path
Essential skills / experience include:
- A hands on, flexible and adaptable approach with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills across all levels and functions, both internally and with suppliers
- An ability to adapt and respond to change with a strong attention to detail
A good understanding of supply chain responsibilities including critical path management would be highly advantageous, but training will be given. You will definitely need excellent EXCEL skills.

SRG is working with a global pharmaceutical company who require a Supply Chain Planner to join their well-established Procurement team, responsible for raising and managing purchase orders consistent with forecast requirements. They will be working closely with Quality, Commercial and Suppliers, to ensure the timely delivery of Contract Manufactured Finished Product into the business, according to the correct quality and specification.
Responsibilities:
- Timely and precise creation, change, and deletion of purchase orders in line with the MRP system.
- Monitor the status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials, including timely
- Expedite materials to support demand changes.
- Understand, resolve and communicate supplier downtime/material shortages.
- Manage collections/deliveries (including release documentation) via controlled transport.
- Set-up, monitor and maintain supplier and material information within the SAP system.
- Management/implementation of artwork changes in line with license submission requirements.
- Work with Goods In, Finance and Suppliers to reconcile discrepancies in receiving and invoicing.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly supplier forecasts and supplier scorecards.
- Maintaining robust and collaborative relationships to enhance supply chains (including suppliers, logistics and freight companies, multiple departments in-house).
- Notify Procurement Manager of any supply issues/pricing issues.
Requirements
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience within supply chain within a manufacturing environment. It is critical you have great communication and the ability to demonstrate great examples of where you have managed multiple supply chain projects/processes simultaneously whilst managing all stakeholders effectively.
- It is essential that the successful person has worked with an ERP and MRP solution.

- Evidence of successful delivery of cost reduction, supplier selection, inventory optimisation, and supply chain performance initiatives.

- Formal qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline (e.g. degree, CIPS, APICS). Equivalent experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications.
