Test, Diagnostic & RCA Engineer
Milton Keynes and occasional travel to Woking
Initial 4 month Contract - Outside of IR35
On site. 45 Hours per week.
*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.*
About the company
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Milton Keynes, who are seeking a Test Engineer to join their team
Essential Criteria:
- Support diagnosis and fault-finding processes on prototype and production electric motors and motor controllers/inverters.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of failed components.
- Support the implementation of containment measures to manage identified issues.
- Plan and execute test and validation activities on EDM hardware.
- Support implementation of corrective and countermeasures to address design or manufacturing issues.
- Prepare technical reports including RCA summaries, test results, and activity plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of EDM development milestones.
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience in test, validation, or diagnostic activities.
- Ability to document and communicate findings effectively.
- Willingness to be based onsite in Milton Keynes with occasional travel to Woking.
Nice to Have Criteria:
- Proactive, hands-on approach to technical challenges.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Flexible and adaptable to fast-paced development environments.
