We are seeking an experienced Field-Based Product Support Engineer to work across Glasgow and Edinburgh, supporting the maintenance and service of diesel engines used in locomotives. you don't have to have worked on locomotives, all diesel engine experience useful This is a hands-on, field service position working with a range of diesel units, including Class 156s, 155s, Turbostars, 170s and similar rolling stock.

Key Responsibilities:
Service & Delivery

* Carry out planned modification programmes and reactive maintenance on diesel engines
* Prepare jobs in advance (tools, parts, documentation) and liaise directly with the customer
* Operate independently in the field, delivering safe, high-quality work on customer sites
* Record all work completed accurately and in line with internal procedures

Customer Focus
* Act as the first point of contact on site, resolving minor customer issues and escalating where needed
* Maintain professional relationships and uphold the clients reputation as a trusted industry partner
