We are seeking a Research Analyst specialising in Digital Assets to join our client's Research team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, data-driven insights on cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and the broader digital asset ecosystem. The position involves supporting investment decisions, risk assessment, and strategic positioning in a rapidly evolving sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, tokens, NFTs, DeFi projects, and blockchain infrastructure.
- Monitor macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and technological progress shaping digital asset markets.
- Build and maintain market forecasts, valuation models, and comparative analyses of digital assets.
- Produce research reports and presentations for stakeholders, portfolio managers, and clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Investment Banking, Sales, and Execution teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with crypto-native and digital asset-focused businesses (including fintechs, banks, and payment platforms), as well as industry thought leaders.
Candidate Requirements
- University degree with ACA, CFA, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding and enthusiasm for cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and digital asset markets.
- Background in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field (advanced degree/certifications a plus).
- Experience with financial modelling, valuation techniques, and/or blockchain analytics tools.
- Excellent written and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise complex topics into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks and policy developments in digital assets.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and blockchain data platforms preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across research areas (Financials, Technology, Economics).
Compliance
- Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory environments.
- Awareness of market codes, policies, and compliance procedures.
- Ability to identify and escalate issues as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global PR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with Tier 1 and specialist media (e.g. WSJ, FT, CoinDesk).
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders (MD/C-suite) and marketing colleagues to shape messaging.
- Write and place press releases, bylined articles, and thought leadership content.
- Manage PR agency relationships in the US and UK.
- Monitor media coverage and identify new opportunities.
