Position overview:
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to design and prototype user interfaces for blockchain applications. This role focuses on creating engaging landing pages and visually stunning designs, ensuring an exceptional user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Prototyping: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to conceptualize and create user interfaces for blockchain-based applications. Utilize tools such as Figma and Framer to create landing pages, interactive prototypes, and wireframes.
- Landing Pages Design and Development: Design and develop landing pages for our products and services. Create engaging, conversion-focused landing page designs that communicate key features and benefits. Use Framer or similar tools for prototyping and publishing landing page designs.
- Visual Design: Develop visually stunning designs that align with our brand identity and convey complex blockchain concepts clearly and concisely. Create high-fidelity mockups and design assets for web and mobile platforms.
- Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions and identify areas for optimization. Iterate designs based on user feedback and usability test results.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design projects and proficiency in Figma and Framer (or similar tools).
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience designing for blockchain-based applications or a strong interest in blockchain technology.

The Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Digital Design Engineer to join our central engineering team, helping to develop and enhance digital capabilities across a global engineering organisation. This role will focus on applying software, automation, AI/ML, and digital tools to improve engineering processes, product development, and analysis workflows.
We are seeking a specialist who can combine programming, engineering knowledge, and data-driven methods to deliver innovative solutions that support next-generation product introduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities to apply digital solutions across the product life cycle.
- Develop and support engineering software tools and automation solutions using Python, C, C++, or C#.
- Apply Model-Based Design (MBD) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to streamline engineering workflows.
- Integrate AI, machine learning, and data science techniques to support design optimisation, robust design, and engineering analytics.
- Contribute to cloud-based development (Microsoft Azure) , REST API integrations, and DevOps-driven orchestration of engineering tools.
- Design intuitive dashboards and UI/UX for internal engineering applications.
- Present digital solutions, progress, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering , or related discipline.
- Strong software development skills (Python, C/C++/C# advantageous).
- Experience with data science, basic statistics, or machine learning .
- Understanding of systems engineering principles and product introduction workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools .
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Model-Based Design (MBD) or MBSE in an engineering environment.
- Exposure to cloud-based development (Microsoft Azure) , REST APIs , DevOps , and orchestration.
- Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter or other PLM systems .
- Familiarity with optimisation techniques, robust design, and automation .
- Understanding of UI/UX for technical applications .
- Interest or experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their use in engineering contexts.

What you’ll do
- Produce fully detailed steelwork models using Autodesk Revit.
- Create construction drawings, shop drawings, and supporting technical documentation.
- Manage Revit models: file structure, naming conventions, version control and clash detection.
- Generate accurate material take-offs to support cost estimation and procurement.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, document control, and project teams to meet key deadlines.
- Liaise directly with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver effective design solutions.
- Support BIM compliance, CDM 2015 requirements, and industry “golden thread” standards.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and technical marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Design Management: Assist the Design Manager in overseeing the design team throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction to construction phases.
- Pre-Construction Involvement: Aid in interpreting client briefs, preparing tender documents, and producing design-related deliverables such as 3D models, digital fly throughs, and 3D site logistics plans. Collaborate with the pre-construction bid team to enhance the quality of bid documentation.
- Design Documentation Maintenance: Help maintain and update the design-related quality bid library and various tracking documents, such as project directories, planning conditions trackers, and design schedules, using the Sewell Design Master Tracker.
- Client Engagement: Assist in creating digital client engagement packs, conducting workshops, and managing reviewable design sessions to ensure client expectations are met within budget constraints.
- BIM and Information Management: Support BIM deliverables and workshops using the Golden Thread approach. Facilitate the upload of project data to the cloud-based common data environment, Viewpoint 4Projects.

- LiDAR Scanning: Utilize Trimble Connect AR or similar technologies to scan existing structures and create accurate digital models.
- Programme and Sustainability Monitoring: Assist in managing the design programme and information schedules. Monitor sustainability criteria to ensure compliance with certifications like BREEAM/SKA/etc.
- Meeting Support: Document minutes from design team meetings and workshops, and update the design risk and opportunities register.
- Project Team Collaboration: Provide design-related support to the Project Team, ensuring smooth communication and execution of design related processes/tasks.
- Social Value Initiatives: Collaborate with the Social Value Team to promote careers in digital construction and design, especially among emerging professionals.
Requirements

Essential:
- A valid UK driving license for regional travel across construction sites.
- Foundational knowledge and experience in the Construction Industry.
- Familiarity with design regulations, standards, and best practices such as Building Regulations, British Standards, Building Bulletins, Health Technical Memorandums, Robust Details, Retrofit PAS 2038, BIM stages and ISO 19650-2 and certifications including ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental Management.
- Proficiency in digital tools like AutoCAD, BricsCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Trimble Sketchup, and video editing software.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude towards delivering high-standard construction works and a commitment to continuous learning including being comfortable trialling and investigating new digital technologies to continually improve our processes. These could include use of Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Sketchup & Enscape, BIM flythroughs/virtual tours etc.
Desirable:
- Experience working with Local Authorities, public sector, higher education, or commercial clients.
- Progress toward or possession of a professional qualification in Construction, Design, or Architecture.
- Knowledge or willingness to develop expertise in sustainable and carbon reduction design solutions.
