Role Overview

The SEO & Content Marketing Manager will lead the strategy and execution of Rightangled’s SEO and content initiatives, with a mission to establish the company as the No.1 ranked brand on Google. This role requires an expert-level professional with cutting-edge knowledge of Google’s evolving algorithms, including the integration of AI and machine learning ranking systems. 

The successful candidate will own the website’s content strategy and technical SEO performance, ensuring optimised, structured, and compliant content delivery that enhances visibility, user experience, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO and content marketing strategy to position the brand at the top of Google search rankings.
  • Monitor, analyse, and adapt strategies based on Google’s latest algorithm updates, AI-driven ranking systems, and emerging SEO trends.
  • Manage and optimise all website content, ensuring proper structure, keyword optimisation, and alignment with SEO best practices.
  • Apply advanced technical SEO techniques, including robots.txt configuration, schema markup, canonical tags, and site architecture improvements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure optimal website speed, mobile responsiveness, and technical performance for Google crawler bots.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Lead on graphics, visuals, and UI/UX enhancements to maximise engagement and search performance.
  • Research, plan, and oversee the publication of high-quality, industry-compliant written content that supports brand authority and organic visibility.
  • Track SEO performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Stay up to date with innovations in SEO, content marketing, AI, and machine learning to ensure cutting-edge strategies are implemented.

Requirements

Requirements  

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in SEO and content marketing, with a proven track record of delivering measurable ranking improvements.

About the role

We are looking for a Brand & Content Marketing Lead to join the wider marketing team, owning and driving the brand, content and national marketing strategy at Arbor.

The Brand & Content Marketing Lead will be responsible for brand strategy, campaigns and delivery, content marketing and strategic communications.



Core responsibilities

Brand and Content Strategy

  • Create and own the brand strategy and architecture for Arbor and its suite of products
  • Shape and manage brand and content KPIs
  • Own and maintain our Brand Guidelines and Visual Identity guidelines
  • Craft and deliver on a brand marketing programme annually - defining brand activations to raise awareness, drive leads, and build equity with our target audiences
  • Work with businesses we acquire to define key messaging and bring them cohesively into our suite of products
  • Train, support and enable teams across the business to represent Arbor’s brand in their work
  • Create and own our annual content marketing programme - using content to drive inbound leads, keep Arbor top of mind, and boost engagement and community
  • Manage our SEO/GEO strategy
  • Build authority for Arbor and its brands in key thought leadership topics across content of all kinds (e.g. data, AI)
  • Be the first point of contact on brand from identity to application - make sure our brand comes to life in everything we do

National Brand Campaigns (Demand Generation)

  • Own end-to-end national, “broadcast style” campaigns to schools, trusts and LAs to drive demand for Arbor and its suite of products 
  • Deliver cross-brand demand gen activity including webinars, ads, and email campaigns with your team
  • Work with your team  to make sure social media messaging and outbound campaigns align
  • Partner with our Events Manager and Go-to-Market SLT to make sure all Arbor events are well branded and high converting

Strategic Comms and Marketing

  • Partner with SLT at Arbor and The Key Group to evolve our brands and positioning for new markets and investors
  • Manage M&A comms internally and externally
  • Work with our PR agency to manage crisis and proactive PR campaigns (e.g. MAT procurement)
  • Work closely with major strategic partners - Google, AWS and Snowflake - to make the most of development funds and brand association

Team, Reporting and ROI

  • Be a member of the Strategy SLT, making sure the whole team is working well together and is on track
  • Manage a team of 2 x FTE, ensuring they are equipped to meet their KPIs/goals and to develop in their career
  • Manage the budget for Brand and Content Marketing activity, reporting on ROI and ensuring value vs quality remains balanced
  • Feedback on your team’s work, helping them to achieve the best possible results
  • Report weekly and monthly on results, identifying success and areas to improve
  • Ensure best practice use of our tooling - e.g. Hubspot, Asana, and so on

Requirements

About you
  • Experience in B2B brand marketing or product marketing
  • Expert storyteller - you’re a natural at crafting compelling messaging and making copy shine
  • Strong commercial instinct - understands the interplay of brand and demand generation
  • 2-3 years experience as a line manager - you love coaching and developing people
  • You thrive at the intersection of creating strategy and process, and helping cross-functional teams to execute
  • A passion and aptitude for data analysis, advocating for customers and critical thinking
  • Confidence to present and explain ideas to colleagues - must be resilient
  • Strong aesthetic skills, with a keen eye for maximising the impact of collateral to build brand equity
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done at pace, leveraging strong prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Experience working with digital product and B2B sales teams to bring products to life for an audience
  • Experience with customer research and surveys
  • The ability to keep calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines and shifting business demands
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, articulating complex ideas in effective and understandable ways
  • A bias for action where no task is too big or too small
