Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Apprenticeship Manager with a passion for digital technologies. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape the future of digital talent, working flexibly between home and our offices in Liverpool, Merseyside, UK . You will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of digital technology apprenticeship programmes, from recruitment and onboarding to successful completion and progression. This includes developing curriculum partnerships, liaising with employers, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring compliance with apprenticeship standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital sector, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a genuine commitment to fostering talent and supporting career development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of digital technology apprenticeship programmes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers to understand their training needs.
  • Recruit, onboard, and support apprentices throughout their learning journey.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality training and assessment, meeting apprenticeship standards.
  • Collaborate with training providers and internal trainers to develop and update curriculum.
  • Monitor apprentice progress, provide guidance, and address any challenges.
  • Conduct regular reviews with apprentices and employers to ensure satisfaction and success.

As a Principal Implementation Specialist, you will take on a pivotal role in advancing our implementation projects. As part of the Customer Success team, your responsibilities will follow the customer journey, including pre-sales, implementation, Go-live and post-Go-live. You'll be a part of a Global team, and a key partner to sales, product and engineering teams.



**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**


Project manage multiple concurrent full-cycle implementations of Touch Surgery Ecosystem at major hospital systems, ensuring projects are executed on-time and within budget. u202f
Engage with clinical and administrative stakeholders and ensure polished communication and collaboration throughout each deployment project with Surgeons, Nurses, OR Managers, Residents, Hospital IT and Biomedical Engineering.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Touch Surgery Ecosystem and build working relationships with internal product and engineering teams to ensure real-world client feedback is incorporated into future product development. u202f
Lead Kickoff and Training Presentations for clinical audiences and provide Go-Live support in the operating room.
Test and install our hardware solutions in live operating rooms prior to deployment, including network configuration.
Partner with the sales team and project manage and support pre-sales activities, including IT, privacy and cybersecurity reviews, leveraging Medtronicu2019s expert teams when required.
Monitor account health post Go-live and create and execute action plans to increase adoption and prevent account risk.



**Required Knowledge and Experience:**


Bacheloru2019s degree required.
Previous minimum experience of 4 years working in hospital Operating.
Rooms/Procedural rooms from either a clinical, technology, consultancy or medical device perspective. u202f
Strong project management skills and experience with project management tools are prioritized.Experience with driving the adoption of digital technologies.
Ability to work remotely and productively for an international company spanning multiple time zones across the US and Europe.
Ability to communicate and influence effectively across multiple internal teams and customer departments.
Ability to travel 25-75% of the time, as needed, to customer sites.



Experience with Healthcare IT is preferred, including network configuration and live streaming technologies. Some technical proficiency is required to understand our products and conduct the required testing with integrated surgical video systems.

The Digital Technologies Business Unit (DTBU) is implementing cutting-edge AI technology, computer vision, and augmented reality in the operating room (OR) to augment surgical coaching, and eventually, performance. Our goal is to deliver safer surgery around the world. Our Touch SurgeryTM Video solution is an innovative video management and data analytics platform for hospitals that includes the DS1 Computer, our first OR device, allowing surgeons, OR team members, and trainees to securely access videos of their procedures shortly after surgery.



As a Principal Implementation Specialist, you will take on a pivotal role in advancing our implementation projects. As part of the Customer Success team, your responsibilities will follow the customer journey, including pre-sales, implementation, Go-live and post-Go-live. You'll be a part of a Global team, and a key partner to sales, product and engineering teams.



**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**


Project manage multiple concurrent full-cycle implementations of Touch Surgery Ecosystem at major hospital systems, ensuring projects are executed on-time and within budget. u202f
Engage with clinical and administrative stakeholders and ensure polished communication and collaboration throughout each deployment project with Surgeons, Nurses, OR Managers, Residents, Hospital IT and Biomedical Engineering.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Touch Surgery Ecosystem and build working relationships with internal product and engineering teams to ensure real-world client feedback is incorporated into future product development. u202f
Lead Kickoff and Training Presentations for clinical audiences and provide Go-Live support in the operating room.
Test and install our hardware solutions in live operating rooms prior to deployment, including network configuration.
Partner with the sales team and project manage and support pre-sales activities, including IT, privacy and cybersecurity reviews, leveraging Medtronicu2019s expert teams when required.
Monitor account health post Go-live and create and execute action plans to increase adoption and prevent account risk.



**Required Knowledge and Experience:**


Bacheloru2019s degree required.
Previous minimum experience of 4 years working in hospital Operating.
Rooms/Procedural rooms from either a clinical, technology, consultancy or medical device perspective. u202f
Strong project management skills and experience with project management tools are prioritized.Experience with driving the adoption of digital technologies.
Ability to work remotely and productively for an international company spanning multiple time zones across the US and Europe.
Ability to communicate and influence effectively across multiple internal teams and customer departments.
Ability to travel 25-75% of the time, as needed, to customer sites.



Experience with Healthcare IT is preferred, including network configuration and live streaming technologies. Some technical proficiency is required to understand our products and conduct the required testing with integrated surgical video systems.

THE ROLE

As an AI Engineer, you’ll design, build, and deploy AI features that solve complex problems and deliver real value to end users. Working across a variety of client projects, you’ll apply your expertise in areas such as conversational AI, image and data classification, and scalable model deployment, bringing cutting-edge AI to production environments at scale.


You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, domain experts, and engineering teams to ensure the AI systems you build are robust, safe, and intuitive. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be writing code, building pipelines, and iterating quickly based on feedback from real users and stakeholders.


RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Lead the development of AI solutions across multiple client engagements.
  • Collaborate with Abstract Customer Engagement and clients to understand business challenges and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
  • Work with client data teams to ingest, clean, and prepare data for modeling.
  • Build and integrate AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, OneReach.ai, LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks for conversational AI.
  • Design and optimise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including embedding generation, vector database configuration, API, MCP and retrieval tuning to improve accuracy, latency, and relevance in conversational AI.
  • Prompt optimisation of closed source LLMs, or post-training of open-source LLMs to build new or improve existing agentic workflows
  • Understand and guide on evaluation frameworks to measure model safety, accuracy, and performance, including recall, precision, F1-score, and other relevant metrics for both conversational AI and classification models.
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team to produce MLOps pipelines to speed up experimentation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Ship AI models into live production environments and iterate rapidly based on usage, feedback, and metric-driven insights.
  • Write clean, testable, and scalable code in .NET or Python and integrate with backend services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AI research and tools, applying them pragmatically to solve real problems.
  • Design and refine prompts, workflows, and evaluation frameworks for autonomous AI financial analysts.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience operating within a senior or lead software engineering position.
  • Exposure to building AI solutions, with experience shipping production solutions.
  • Ability to write clean, testable, and scalable code with Python, C# or JS.
  • Demonstrable production experience with AI Foundry Orchestration, LangChain, OneReach.ai or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimising RAG-based systems, including vector databases, APIs or MCP.
