**A Day in the Life**
The Digital Technologies Business Unit (DTBU) at Medtronic is implementing cutting-edge AI technology, computer vision, and augmented reality in the operating room (OR) to augment surgical coaching, and eventually, performance. Our goal is to deliver safer surgery around the world.
Our Touch SurgeryTM Video solution is an innovative video management and data analytics platform for hospitals that includes the DS1 Computer, our first OR device, allowing surgeons, OR team members, and trainees to securely access videos of their procedures shortly after surgery.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Manage a team of data scientists within the Surgical Operating Unit at Medtronic.
+ Lead advanced analytics initiatives to foster a data-driven culture within Medtronic.
+ Act as a key stakeholder in the design and development of data infrastructure and models.
+ Guide the team in applying statistical and predictive methods to analyze customer behavior and product performance.
+ Oversee the development and productization of data products, delivering actionable insights to customers.
+ Support the professional development of team members and strengthen their technical capabilities.
+ Drive innovation and continuous improvement in data practices and analytics strategies.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ MSc or PhD in a STEM subject.
+ Previous experience managing teams of data scientists.
+ A solid grounding in SQL with a good understanding of best practices in software engineering and data engineering.
+ Practical object-oriented programming experience in Python with knowledge of relevant packages including Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, Pytorch.
+ In-depth knowledge of statistical and machine learning models as well as experience with end-to-end delivery lifecycles.
+ Experience in writing clean and maintainable code for collaborative working and using code versioning tools.
+ Excellent communicator and experience with stakeholder management.
+ Self-starter mindset - you can proactively identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
+ Experience of and ability to effectively use cloud native data science tooling.
+ Extensive experience with Tableau and dbt or similar tooling.
Ideally, you will bring knowledge of data compliance frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC2 policies. Experience integrating highly heterogeneous data streams-such as IoT data, customer interactions, and product performance metrics-is also valuable. Additionally, domain knowledge in health technology or surgical practice would be a strong asset.

**A Day in the Life**
The Senior Commercial Enablement Manager will serve as an integral member of both the Global Commercial Enablement (GCE) team and the Global DT Organization. This role is responsible for supporting the commercialization of our Global Digital Technologies (DT) platform globally, while also leading or contributing to various global initiatives.
Commercial Enablement is tasked with supporting Medtronic's goal to expand the DT footprint globally, with this role focusing on both stand-alone DT sales and integration with Hugo RAS. The Senior Commercial Enablement Manager is responsible for establishing end-to-end processes that facilitate the marketing, sales, installation, service, training, and support of a DT system in new countries. Program management and oversight of essential deliverables are included as part of this role, contributing to the effective commercialization of DT and any related post-launch initiatives worldwide. The position also emphasizes ongoing process improvement and the implementation of change management.
Reporting to the Global Director Commercial Enablement, this role requires independence, multitasking, and clear communication with internal and external teams. The candidate should offer both business and technical expertise for comprehensive launch and post-launch support.
This role works with cross-functional teams and Project Managers to develop project plans, timelines, and reports. Responsibilities include budget tracking, risk management, updating documentation, managing dashboards, scheduling meetings, and following up on action items.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Drive all activities related to Commercial Enablement and Program management for product launch and post-launch support for all global countries in scope.
+ Being a satellite function for the Global PMO to support/drive global programs.
+ Work with Project Managers and cross functional team members to identify, resolve or escalate project issues, develop and implement mitigation plans, and remove obstacles.
+ Create and maintain commercialization process flows, risk registers, plans, schedules and dashboards.

As a Principal Implementation Specialist, you will take on a pivotal role in advancing our implementation projects. As part of the Customer Success team, your responsibilities will follow the customer journey, including pre-sales, implementation, Go-live and post-Go-live. You'll be a part of a Global team, and a key partner to sales, product and engineering teams.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Project manage multiple concurrent full-cycle implementations of Touch Surgery Ecosystem at major hospital systems, ensuring projects are executed on-time and within budget.
+ Engage with clinical and administrative stakeholders and ensure polished communication and collaboration throughout each deployment project with Surgeons, Nurses, OR Managers, Residents, Hospital IT and Biomedical Engineering.
+ Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Touch Surgery Ecosystem and build working relationships with internal product and engineering teams to ensure real-world client feedback is incorporated into future product development.
+ Lead Kickoff and Training Presentations for clinical audiences and provide Go-Live support in the operating room.
+ Test and install our hardware solutions in live operating rooms prior to deployment, including network configuration.
+ Partner with the sales team and project manage and support pre-sales activities, including IT, privacy and cybersecurity reviews, leveraging Medtronic's expert teams when required.
+ Monitor account health post Go-live and create and execute action plans to increase adoption and prevent account risk.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree required.
+ Previous minimum experience of 4 years working in hospital Operating.
+ Rooms/Procedural rooms from either a clinical, technology, consultancy or medical device perspective.
+ Strong project management skills and experience with project management tools are prioritized.Experience with driving the adoption of digital technologies.
+ Ability to work remotely and productively for an international company spanning multiple time zones across the US and Europe.
+ Ability to communicate and influence effectively across multiple internal teams and customer departments.
+ Ability to travel 25-75% of the time, as needed, to customer sites.
Experience with Healthcare IT is preferred, including network configuration and live streaming technologies. Some technical proficiency is required to understand our products and conduct the required testing with integrated surgical video systems.

**A Day in the Life**
Digital Technologies is Medtronic's Business Unit implementing cutting-edge AI technology, computer vision, and augmented reality to the operating room (OR) and surgical training. Our goal is to deliver safer surgery around the world. Our Touch Surgery Ecosystem includes an innovative video management and data analytics platform for hospitals that includes the DS1 computer, our first OR device, allowing surgeons, OR team members, and trainees to securely access videos of their procedures shortly after surgery. The device uses advanced AI algorithms that enable automatic processing and uploading of videos. Our surgical training platform is the award-winning Touch Surgery application that provides safe and accessible training for surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
As we expand our solutions, this is an exciting opportunity to join the company as a Senior Manager for our Technical Services and ongoing support (TSOS) team. You will take on a pivotal role in advancing the technical support of our products globally, lead an experienced team of technical services specialists and develop, drive and execute the service strategy for the digital business, reporting directly to the Global Director of Customer Success. You'll be a part of a Global team within Customer Success, and a key partner to sales, product and engineering teams.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Define and execute the global technical support strategy, aligned with the Business growth, enterprise strategy, customer needs and product evolution.
+ Oversee support operations across multiple global markets.
+ Lead, expand and continue to develop a global team of TSOS specialists.
+ Maintain and develop KPIs, SLAs and escalation frameworks to ensure fast, effective resolution of customer issues while assisting in managing ticket escalations and prioritisation and communication of risks to the business.
+ Ensure consistent support standards across regions while adapting to local market requirements.
+ Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Touch Surgery Ecosystem and build working relationships with internal product and engineering teams to ensure real-world client feedback is incorporated into product development.
+ Drive adoption and optimisation of support tools, processes and documentation.
+ Work with Quality/Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with medical device standards and reporting obligations.
+ Introduce automation and AI-based support enhancements where possible and cost effective.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree required.
+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
+ Extended experience in supporting medical devices.
+ Business acumen and strategic mindset - track record of successfully driving service strategy.
+ Familiar with service software platforms and experience with service data integration.
+ Ability to communicate and influence effectively across multiple teams.
+ Strong project management skills.
+ Ability to work from the London office for at least 2 to 3 days per week.
+ Willingness to work flexible hours to support collaboration across different regions and time zones.
+ Willingness to travel approximately 10-15% of the time, depending on project needs.
Experience working with connected devices, digital solutions, and/or video streaming is preferred, along with a background in digital healthcare.
