We are looking for an enthusiastic (Service Engineer) to join our team specializing in Systems and Data Execution for our (CBU - Components Business Unit) in Huddersfield, United Kingdom. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2026. The requirements are for the successful candidate to be on-site 3 days per week, so it is important that you can relocate, or be within a commutable distance to site.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
+ Supporting/using the CCIMS (Customer Care Information Management System) application
+ Compiling SQL queries using databricks
+ Helping develop CCIMS next generation application and Process improvement projects
+ Gaining an appreciation of service function/spend time in the CBU Service Lab in Huddersfield
+ Supporting project in the Data Analytics & Data Science functions
**QUALIFICATIONS**
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
+ We are looking applicants studying towards a degree in the following areas or similar: Data Science, Technology, Maths, Business or Project Management
+ An interest in Data Science and Data Analytics.
+ Good understanding of databases and their structures
+ Ability to work successfully as part of a team with experience contributing to or leading projects
