**Summary**
The ESI (Employer Services International) Commercial Operations Director is responsible for developing, executing and managing projects, programs and initiatives that support our the ESI Sales Organisation. The role will be responsible for developing and managing the strategy to provide key business analytics and insights to support our sales performance management and operational goals.

**Experience:**
- Business Excellence, BPI or Lean track record of delivery
- Leadership experience of teams in a matrix organization
- Data Analytics (Six Sigma, Predictive Analysis, Market Analytics)
- Project management qualifications preferred
- Team player with excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Strong working knowledge CRM or Data System (eg Siebel / SFDC) including, data management skills
- Proficient in business English and a secondary language, both oral and written an advantage

We are looking for a Business Intelligence and Data Officer on a 1 year fixed term basis to lead a central role in monitoring performance, identifying, and advising service weaknesses to support data collation and ensuring compliance to statutory reporting for Education and Inclusion. Skills should include transforming raw data into insightful and user-friendly dashboards including Power BI Development. This role involves working end-to-end from writing SQL queries to extract and shaping datasets, through to designing and publishing final dashboards in Power BI.

The role will lead on the process of enabling intelligence and data provision from our Education systems and will support the service to address and resolve identified issues and prevent the need of further data cleansing by embedding a positive performance management culture where data is recorded in a timely and accurate manner to support decision making and ensure compliance to Statutory Returns duties.

We are looking for a Business Intelligence and Data Officer on a 1 year fixed term basis to lead a central role in monitoring performance, identifying, and advising service weaknesses to support data collation and ensuring compliance to statutory reporting for Education and Inclusion. Skills should include transforming raw data into insightful and user-friendly dashboards including Power BI Development. This role involves working end-to-end from writing SQL queries to extract and shaping datasets, through to designing and publishing final dashboards in Power BI.

The role will lead on the process of enabling intelligence and data provision from our Education systems and will support the service to address and resolve identified issues and prevent the need of further data cleansing by embedding a positive performance management culture where data is recorded in a timely and accurate manner to support decision making and ensure compliance to Statutory Returns duties.

An exciting opportunity for a Power BI Developer to join a major UK retail organisation’s finance team, working closely with their analytics function to drive data storytelling, reporting automation, and self-service analytics adoption across the business


The Role


Reporting to the Analytics Manager, you’ll collaborate with SQL engineers and finance stakeholders to deliver high-impact Power BI dashboards supporting four key areas:

  1. Accounts Payable – Supplier payments
  2. Cash Accounting – Cash flow monitoring (Amex, PayPal, etc.)
  3. Commercial Services – Store essentials (e.g., hangers, bags)
  4. Operations – Stock levels across stores, warehouses, and tills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards tailored to finance and operational functions.
  • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable visualisations.
  • Utilise data storytelling to enable insight-driven decision-making.
  • Support the business in transitioning to self-service analytics, reducing ad hoc reporting.
  • Contribute to the team’s shift toward a gold-standard Medallion Architecture

The Role


You'll be facilitating data-informed decision making and equipping members of the sales team with the data and insights required to win new business. This role will play an important part in developing business processes and ensuing an agile approach to changing market trends and behaviours. A key focus of the role will be in developing the club’s brand partnership offering to deliver long term revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities Include

  • Constantly striving to enhance and develop the commercial department’s use of data and analytics to support performance and revenue growth.
  • Constructing creative and compelling arguments through data and insights to substantiate and support brand pitching process to deliver revenue growth.
  • Harnessing zero and first-party data to support brand objectives and KPIs to deliver ROI.
  • Building global brand prospecting lists for target outreach, sourcing accurate contact info and providing key data points to increase response rate.
  • Supporting partner delivery team with data and insights for quarterly partner reporting and ad hoc requests to maximise partnership performance and ensure first class client service.
  • Ensuring collaboration and sharing of information across departments to ensure a unified approach and collective responsibility for achieving growth targets.
  • Compiling and analysing weekly revenue reports across all commercial revenue.
