The Role
We are looking for experienced Overhead Linesman to join our teams working on our Projects up to and including 132kV lattice steel towers in the South and East of the UK. The Linesperson will be involved in construction and maintenance of the existing networks, upgrading infrastructure and carrying out emergency repairs as required. This includes transformer changing, oil sampling and LV networks.
We have secured multi year frameworks with multiple DNOs, providing support across their ED2 Distribution Network Programme. We will be providing services across all DNO assets, including overhead lines, underground cables and substation construction and upgrading.
Here are some of the tasks you would be involved in.
- Carry out all work in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of recipient DNO.
- Install, build and refurbish overhead lines up to 132KV.
- Conform to all instructions stated in method statements and risk assessments.
- Liaise with Site Supervisors regarding and specific site issues.
- Construction and maintenance of the distribution Network from LV up to 132kV.
We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate.
- Experience in BLX or equivalent HV systems.
- Construction and maintenance of the 33/66Kv bulk supply network.
- 132Kv lattice steel towers would be of an advantage.
- Working on LV networks both open wire and ABC would be advantageous.
- Replacing HV pole mounted transformers up to 200KVA.
- Working with MEWPs, safe operation of MEWPs.
- Experience of working on an Overhead Lines electrical networks
- Hold a valid EUSR or CSCS Card
- DNO operational authorisations
- Full Driving Licence

Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
- Late Shift: 14:00 -22:00

- Fresh Warehouse Operatives will work in a fast paced environment, utilising finger scanners to follow a set grid. You will load cages and pallets for delivery to stores across the Southeast, Gibraltar, and Malaysia.
- Ambient Warehouse Operatives will operate in a similar environment, using radio voice instructions and pump trucks, alongside finger scanners, to load cages and pallets for the same regions.
You will receive full training and ongoing support throughout your time with us. Stafforce has an on-site office, and we're always available for assistance.

Our established agricultural client based in the outskirts of Shrewsbury is looking for a temporary, part time distribution administrator to cover maternity leave, and hit the ground running to ensure the smooth handover.
As part of this role, you will be inputting and collating all Wynnstay driver delivery documentation, arranging for driver digital tachograph cards to be downloaded on a weekly basis, acting as a point of contact for drivers and the Distribution team and flexibly providing general assistance on site at peak times to ensure efficient business activity.
In addition, you will be Co-ordinating compliance with Health and Safety requirements and various Distribution regulations, providing general office support when required including assisting the wider Distribution and Customer Services teams.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Strong IT knowledge and skills, including experience using Microsoft Office
