Currently looking for a Distribution Coordinator (Readymix) to support the day-to-day supervision of our Readymix vehicle operations, managed through a third-party haulage base. The successful candidate will report directly to the RMX Business Manager and will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused delivery of Readymix products.
Location: Queenslie, G33 4DZ
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process Readymix concrete orders from customers
Schedule delivery times in alignment with customer requirements
Collaborate with the distribution and wider transport teams to maintain a cost-effective and sustainable transport operation
Ensure compliance with legal and company standards across all third-party haulage activities
Manage and develop relationships with third-party hauliers, including contract negotiation
Work alongside Logistics and Production Managers to support medium and long-term planning
Candidate Requirements:
Experience in a similar role or within a transport, distribution, or customer service environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (experience with SAP and CRM systems is advantageous)
Ability to work effectively within a team and to meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Problem-solving ability with strong analytical and numeracy skills
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
Flexible and adaptable attitude to work

Your Role:
As a Distribution Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring our products reach our clients efficiently and accurately. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling and packing various-sized ambient and refrigerated packaged materials/devices to a consistently high standard, passionate about getting it 'right first time', both at ground level and at height.
- Warehouse Stock Management activities, including goods receiving, stock put away and cycle counting.
- Maintain own training records within the company quality management system (MasterControl).
- Update the stock management system (SAP) following the completion of allocated tasks.

- Expected to sign dangerous goods transportation documents, taking legal responsibility for their packaging and presentation to the carrier. As such, failure to follow the regulations as trained could potentially lead to them being liable for prosecution in a court of law.

Based at our Capenhurst site, the electrical distribution team is responsible for ensuring that electrical distribution related equipment is maintained and operated to ensure safety and statutory compliance. The role of the Electrical Distribution Engineer is to control, perform and supervise maintenance work on the site electrical distribution network and its ancillary components (inclusive of repair, switching and modification), whilst providing technical support and monitoring progress against agreed maintenance plans. They will develop supplier relationships and build business cases to support change, whilst offering the operational and maintenance support to business. They will have operational responsibilities to ensure that all equipment is operated and worked on in accordance with UUK Electrical Safety Rules. They will also be responsible for any engineering improvement opportunities and asset management of the equipment operated and maintained by the team.
