SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:



To support the distribution manager in the smooth running of the department within the branch and in the market place through focus on Operations, Finances, Sales, People, Systems, and Culture in adherence to the companyu2019s policy and procedures.




Daily process and input of all customer orders and distribution accounts.


Provide daily operational reports that are accurate and timely.


Run stock reports to check for product availability.


Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders, checks all orders for special requests and posts inventory records.


Perform accurate and timely data entry for receiving, order allocation, shipping and inventory management.


Rate domestic transportation bills.


Coordinate special, last minute shipping requests with the Transportation and Operations Departments, expediting any order as necessary.


Trace orders as required and notifies customers of any activity concerning their order.


Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.


Maintain damage records and backorder logs.


Handle returned merchandise in an efficient manner and ensures proper credit is given to the customer.


Input all receipts, putaways, moves, picks, shipments and cycle counts


Provide warehouse staff with necessary documents and information needed to complete receiving, and to ship orders.


Maintain excellent working relationships with customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, etc. in a courteous and efficient manner.


Report customer feedback to management, including any signs of customer dissatisfaction.


Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts and between the office and customer regarding invoicing and credit information.


Contribute to maintain strong relationships with vendors (trucking companies, and others).


Provide support with other miscellaneous projects, filing and research


Maintain a current and accurate DLSOP that details the processing requirements for each account.


Answer phone calls according to Expeditors standards


Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer policies / requirements.


Meet KPI standards, as per the companyu2019s procedures


Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow


Track and Trace Air Export Files and reporting


Use Tree View on daily basis


Ensure arrival notices are communicated to overseas and customers


Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage and direct supply chain personnel in procurement, receipt, disbursement, and inventory control to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining inventory levels. Train and develop direct reports on supply chain management techniques and business systems.
+ Responsible for Sales and Sales Planning and supports delivery of plant-based operational metrics like OTD, Gross Inv, and financial deliverables.
+ Engage direct and indirect teams, stakeholders, and leadership within Eaton GEIS EMEA to represent site goals and strategy.
+ Manage demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities to ensure customer requirements are met. Implement cost-effective logistics practices and inventory levels.
+ Oversee plant purchasing activities for locally procured items to complement centrally purchased items.
+ Implement and maintain the plant's SIOP process. Analyze data and prepare managerial reports to ensure optimal supply chain execution.
+ Ensure correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines in order execution systems for proper order generation and inventory balances.
+ Manage material cost and schedule impact of proposed engineering changes and ensures successful implementation of approved engineering releases.
+ Ensure quality of shipping documentation to meet corporate financial and customer audit requirements, supporting compliance initiatives and corporate strategies.
+ Devise and manage physical inventory audit methodology to meet corporate, governmental, and customer specifications.
+ Evaluate operational performance to facilitate performance management, promotions, job transfers, dismissals, and commendations. Identify and develop top talent to create a high-performance team.
+ Maintain metrics for Safety, OTD, Cycle Count Accuracy, Stockroom efficiency, and others as assigned.
+ Troubleshoot inventory errors and understands ERP logic for problem-solving.
+ Manage Cycle Counting program, ensuring daily counts and timely resolution of discrepancies. Ensure integrity and audit capability of the Cycle-Count process.
+ Train and develop team members and provides oversight and coaching.
+ Drive continuous improvement through the Eaton Business System (EBS) and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
+ Champion Lean activities to eliminate waste in key processes.
+ Implement cost-out goals and reports actual cost-out results.
+ Coordinate with internal departments for shipping materials, forklift repairs, and maintenance.
+ Plan and coordinate annual physical inventory.
+ Establish performance criteria to measure efficiency in materials handling functions.
+ Maintain standard work and requirements.
+ Optimize stockroom layout for efficiency in kitting processes and ensures FIFO pulling of material.
+ Ensure integrity of multiple stockroom locations for production, projects, and engineering, maintaining inventory accuracy above 95%.
+ Conduct quarterly review and disposal of Excess and Obsolete inventory per company guidelines.
**Qualifications:**
+ Degree of Higher Education is required
+ At least 4 years of experience in a similar position
+ Proven Leader of People: Multiple years of related professional and supervisory/Managerial experience
+ Full knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic. High Digital Skillset including Excel, Microsoft Office 365 and associated programs
+ Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving
+ Detailed knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management
+ Ability to lead cross-functional process improvement teams

This is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing and optimising the entire supply chain function. **Position overview:**
The **Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation** will be responsible for providing analysis and recommendations to support Ball Beverage Packaging EMEA Supply Chain Strategy. This will include providing investment analysis, working closely with the Supply Chain Planning and Execution, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance & Growth teams.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Supports the analysis of strategic investment opportunities from scenario analysis through to AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) preparation. This includes supply chain planning and financial analysis, using cross-functional inputs from the regional strategic capital project team.
+ Supports the long-term Strategic Planning cycle (3-5 years), working closely with and at times supporting the Supply Chain Planning & Execution team.
+ Support footprint modeling (Ball and competitors) and optimisation scenario analysis.
+ Supports the maintenance of longer-term planning models, including network optimisation and competitive advantage analysis.
+ Retrieves sales, production, inventory, and financial data from various systems and reporting tools to leverage in broader analyses.
+ Works cross functionally with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, & Growth teams to support cost-out & transformation initiatives.
+ Supports in preparation of presentations for various stakeholder groups, including Regional ELTs, O&SC Leadership Team and Global ELT.
+ Supports the preparation for Regional Strategy Meetings (RSM) and other strategic meetings throughout the year.
+ Manages regular team data maintenance, including but not limited to the footprint funnel in Excel, project financials, and recurring ELT project updates and actions.
+ Works collaboratively with the strategic capital project group and support them meeting project requirements within the proposed timeline.
+ Supports the Strategic Capital Projects Team to develop their reporting capabilities and work with other analysts to align processes across regions.
**What are we looking for?**
+ An analytical individual who excels in communication, organization and collaborative working.
+ Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar function.
+ MS Office Suite, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Data management and visualization tools such as: PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik Sense.
+ Analyzing and drawing insights from large datasets.
+ Producing effective presentations of complex datasets
