We have an exciting opportunity to join our Horticulture business based over 3 sites in Derby, Spalding and Holland . Our factories are fast paced, highly demanding and ever-changing.
Reporting into the Site Manager(s) you will also be responsible for the long term strategy and daily delivery of the end to end supply chain ensuring all of our product gets to our customers on time, and always looking to optimise the operation whilst demonstrating market leader behaviours.
Leading a team of people you will also be accountable for:
- Delivery of the sites KPI’S and planned service levels li>Delivery and compliance of the end to end supply chain across the division li>Delivery of KPI’S to all stakeholders and ensuring that these are understood and drive action to improve either service to our customer or profits to the end to end business < i>Delivery and development of key meetings with Supply chain/Operations and trading on a daily/weekly basis
- Developing and Coaching the team to drive our supply chain process forward and drive improvements via the team li>Ensure that all forecasts are relevant and challenged for long term process and short term plan are fit for delivering the customer service and financial targets
- Establish and maintain full set of Standard Operating Procedures for the team with Measures in place
About You
As well as strong leadership skills you will also have:
- < i>Worked in Supply Chain/Logistics role, within a fast paced manufacturing environment, and understands all compliance elements relating to imports li>Strong influencing skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across teams
- Demonstrable experience of delivering strong customer service with the ability to make challenging decisions to ensure consistency with service to our customers
- A proven track record of improving supply chain process via understanding industry best practices and keeping up to date with this li>A track record of implementing and improving supply chain processes and systems to improve service within a Manufacturing to Retail operation is highly desirable li>Great leadership skills ensuring your team are striving to exceed expectations, encourage collaborative working, developing talent within your team and creating talent progression maps for future team and site stability
