Role Overview:
Based in our Leicester tooling hub and reporting to the field operations lead, you will be required to coordinate the day to day operations of our installation tooling. Planning will be an essential part of the role together with liaising with our new installation teams for tooling availability, inspections, collections and deliveries.
Your responsibilities will include but wont be limited to:
+ Tooling inspections in line with LOLER requirements.
+ PAT testing of electrical equipment.
+ Coordination of logistics.
+ Arranging external inspections and audits.
+ Attending job sites to conduct tests and inspections.
+ Collection and delivery of tooling.
+ Ordering spare parts for tooling.
+ Updating the tooling database and inspection records.
+ Forklift use within the tooling hub.
+ All necessary training and PPE will be provided.

On a typical day you will:
+ Ensure methods and tooling analysis is carried out and advise on correct tooling and tooling management.
+ Provide field support on correct tooling and associated costs
+ Establish, nurture and influence relationships with internal and external customers by serving as a key contact to address tooling challenges and making recommendations to drive installation efficiency.
+ Ensure compliance to process and assist in development of established process through regular audits and reviews.
+ Navigating the operational complexities both internal and external to the Field Operations Department by analysing data and utilising subject matter experts and networks to resolve challenges arising.

+ Able to adapt to sudden changes in your workload.
+ Experience working within a Tooling, Mechanics or even Hardware sector would be desirable but not essential.
+ PC literate, able to work with and pick up new computer systems quickly.
+ Ideally an FLT licence (counter balance) but training and refresher course can be arranged in house.
+ Full and valid UK Driving licence.

I’m working with the UK Logistics Centre for a global engine development powerhouse in Daventry to find a proactive Supply Chain Planner to cover a 12-month maternity contract. This is a hybrid role 3 days on-site, 2 days from home , working standard office hours (37.5 per week).
The Role:
You’ll be the go-to for supply chain operations across planning, logistics, customer and supplier returns, and inventory optimisation. It’s a pivotal support role within their Global Planning and Logistics function, liaising with key site teams, resolving escalations, and keeping operations flowing.
Day-to-day you'll be involved in:
- Material and production planning for aftermarket kitting
- Handling supplier & customer returns across EMEA
- Engaging with inbound ops and site logistics teams
- Driving inventory optimisation and managing planning KPIs
- Working with planning systems like PFEP, MRP, and BI dashboards
This is an ideal step up if you’ve had some experience (placement or prior role) in supply chain, logistics, or material planning, especially in a manufacturing or engineering context.
